Hi all
I just noticed something really strange, and most strange is that im pretty sure its not a bug.
I have:
Connection lv2
Diplomacy lv3
And when i take a look at my standing i notice that my gallente standing (raw is possitiv) is lower then my minmatar standing (raw is negativ)
Gallente: 0.83 (raw 0.03)
minmatar: 1.10 (raw -0.11)
I just notice this and found it to be somewhat strange, hehe i guess the coding doesnt make much sence.
What you think?
(other then me having to much free time  )

I think that it makes perfect sense because you have trained Diplomacy higher than you have trained Connections.

Haha, yeah. Trained up Diplomacy heavily at one point, and then realized that while it gave me access to agents for a while, as soon as my standing exceeded 0, I lost access to them...
But it's the basis of human interaction - to the OP, my explanation:
The Gallente are used to having you around, know you'll be around, and so don't really care about you. You're stable, but don't stand out all that much.
The Matar think that you're unpredictable - sometimes you're whispering sweet nothings, and sometimes you're blowing their pilots or their friends out of the sky. It's exciting, and they like it that way.
Eventually you'll get 8.0 standings with Gallente, and the Caldari will shoot you on sight.

It doesn't matter how high or low your standings are with Gallente, the Caldari will only shoot you if you have an effective standings of -5.0 or less with them.
As long as you don't go shooting their ships, you will not have your standing drop that low.
