I'm selling Gunter who will have 9.3mill SP by the time of sale.

He comes with a Mammoth for all your hauling needs.
He comes with an unfitted Vagabond HAC.
By the time his training is finished for sale he will be able to fit his HAc with:
Tech 2 medium autocannons,
Tech 2 NOS,
Tech 2 mwd,
Tech 2 tracking disruptors
and anything else you need for a HAC pilot.
He has a positive wallet balance, positive security status, and is in high sec space.
Starting bid: 1 bill
Buyout: 2.4 bill
Bid increments: 100 mill
Bidding is open for 1 week until 12 noon (GMT) 19th February 2008.
ISK will be transfered to Mordred Shadow, and the seller will pay the transfer fee.

Sorry about the disconnect, i'm having issues with my video card and my computer randomly resets = and I was going to chat with you about being a Manticore pilot too :) I love my stealth bomber.

I'm sorry but I'm trying to exchange the character but I'm getting an error.
ERRORTransfer Character:Target user not found or not active;
I'll look into this and try and solve it as soon as possible. Do you have an available character slot? Do I need to have your login name, not just your character name? And also note that Gunter won't be available until after the dt of the day he is transfered, thats just how CCP does it.

you are totally off base.
you do not transfer chars like GTC. you need the person's account name.
you get to see the char in account immediately after character transfer. its a myth/lie that you have to wait until downtime.

Thank you Enough Fiber. I'll try and sort that out now that I know. And the dt thing I got from FAQ or the knowledgebase or something official. If its not the case then its yet another thing that hasn't been updated in a few years since it probablt was true.

Its not a myth/lie, although now it is instant you USED TO(PAST TENSE) have to wait till downtime.

U dont use the character name, but the account name. no password etc, just the name of the account the char is to be transfered to. hope this helps and GL

I've just transferred the character and it was successful. Let me know when you get him, and send the money to Mordred Shadow.
I stopped Gunter's training last night as I was trying to send him across. I don't think I could send him with a skill training as you would then have 2 characters training on the one account.

you were supposed to receive isk first.
I hope you followed the rules for character sale (billions worth being sold and 5 minutes isn't too long is it). Give him a day before filing petition if you do not receive isk

Guys, you are being so helpful. I actually thought that the character would transfer first to reduce scammers, not the other way around.
I'll check the isk when I get home from work (I'm on my lunch break now) and I'm sure it will be there.
Thanks again everyone for helping me understand all of this. As is always the case the official help documents and resources don't answer the important questions.

i think the reason that the isk gets transferred first is to ensure that the buyer has the isk (sometimes intentional scam, sometimes expecting character sale/isk loan) before any step involving real life cash (transfer fee cost).
