I too, want my blinking light back. Because, let's face it, bling is important to the Gallente, otherwise we might as well roll over and put the Caldari in charge.

They really need to overhaul the design of Navy Gallente ships. The camouflage military look is awful. I wouldn't mind having the ships adopt to look like the new Quafe Iteron that is being rolled out for Fanfest. Anything, but the current look

Your opinion is pointless for Gallente Navy Camo amateurs like me !! -leave my Navy Camo alone and beg something else, I don't know you could ask some exciting new and awesome stuff:

I like the new Comet more, tbh, never was a fan of yankee cop cars. A black & white color scheme would still work, just with different layout.

The Comet does need to be restored to it's Gal PD paintjob. It was iconic.
The Gal Shuttle needs to be painted orange again, the green looks terrible and just utterly boring. |

Dear CCP,
I load the game yesterday night and I see that there was a patch. I knew right away that you have fixed the Comet. I was very excited! This was PROOF that CCP listens to the important issues (like the Comet) of their customers!
But when I get into game and into my ship.... it looks the SAME!
Thinking it was a bug I restarted the game but that did not fix it. Someone in Arnon helpfully suggested that I reinstall Eve, so I deleated the Eve game.
Now I am back after 5 hours of patching and I see that it is still BROKEN! I CANNOT BELIEVE YOU HAVE LEFT THIS GAME BREAKING FEATURE GO ONE THIS LONG!

I think you should respond to the maybe millions of customers who are leaving your game!!!
I am willing to let you fly me to iceland to discuss this before your game is broken and bankrupt!
Also you should probably put me on your CRS team instead of all the null sec mega-alliance man crush alternative lifestyle (not that I am judging) fagboys on there now so that critical game issues like this can be avoided in future!

All Gallente Navy ships need to be changed to black and grey. The "space police" color scheme on the old navy mega and old comet was f**king epic. And one of the reasons I trained Gallente, I liked that faction's style, even if hybrids were really meh.
Look at the existing Megathron Federate Issue skin. THAT is what Gallente navy ships should look like. Dark, sexy, intimidating and shiny. It fits with the lore better as well, since the Gallente are big on making things look good. Spacecamo is just plain fugly, and does not fit the faction's style at all.

Before I joined EVE I spent some time looking around the different ships in the item database and thought the Comet looked interesting, but was saddened to think that I would probably never be able to bring myself to fly it because of that totally naff police car paint job. I couldn't think of anything more ridiculous.
I was pleased beyond measure when a saner paint job was adopted just before I joined. Now I can happily look forward to eventually flying one. |
