Hampstah	Posted - 2004.03.31 04:48:00 - [1] Everlasting Vendetta has had many fights with Phantom Squad in Empire space over the last 2-3 weeks. Those guys are awesome enemies. We have taken losses on both sides but the whole time it has been in the spirit of the game and in good humor. Karl Savage and LeMofo are particualarly entertaining foes (you gotta love enemies with a good sense of humor) - looking forward to scrapping with you gents again. Props to Karl Savage, for the time he annoyed EVE radio and turned himself into the bounty hunted person, most people would have just logged, but Karl stayed in the same system and let everyone have some fun, POD and all. - Who got the 30 mill that night? You're very welcome, and thanks in return for being good natured, polite and gracious enemies. During the last three weeks we havent had a single incident of smack talking before, during or after a skirmish, including the opening battle of the war where we had our collective asses handed to us. Since then we've had an active, good natured dialogue with just about every EVER pilot we've faced in battle (Prior to their or our untimely destruction) and things have always been very friendly. Whatever misgivings people may have with EVER I cant fault them personally in this war and havent seen or heard anything which would lead me to believe they are anything other than politically misguided. :) All said and done, they are a good foe for us to concentrate on, and have given us many hours of quality game time. Just for the record (Think it was pondered in the Ever recruitment thread) we've killed over 30 of your ships in the last 3 weeks (over 20 of those by me I should probably add) and we've suffered about 10 total losses, although to be fair you've killed 3 of our BS's (2 of which were mine btw) and a number of cruisers (again, mostly mine) whereas we've so far only killed one of your BS's. Im pretty sure more will follow. Good fortune Ever, and thanks for a good clean fight.

Yeah, that one engagement I think you're refering to started well, but a miscommunication cost us 2 battleships (Including my beloved Typhoon) after a warp in fubar to finish off either your scorp or Heiderns Apoc. But it was fun all the same. We'll get round to you lot again eventually. I believe it was Ethidium Bromide who got me eventually. I'm still ****ed at Doby for that - all I did was happen upon the original target and practise a little warp scrambling and webbing. I wasnt gonna hurt a poor, innocent noob.
