Rank 5 of them. 1 being the best, 5 being the worst of your 5. Curious as to what people are afraid of when facing pirates or what a pirate himself loves to use.

1. A HIC, any of them. I see a HIC and I am spamming MWD -> Cloak -> Align for gate
2. Huginn / Arazu tied for 2nd
3. Ishtar, Vaga tied for 3rd
4. A command ship, specially if it has an inty friend
5. A Myrmidon with EWAR-Drones

there is no best ship for piracy , however i think the rupture is pretty amazing , it's cheap to buy , cheap to fit , very good range with barrage, can do all damage, can use drones, guns use no cap, have enough powergrid to fit a 1600 plate on it , have also a decent tank.
And if you have medium AC spec ,rapid fire, and surgical strike at lvl 5, they hurt a lot.
T2 boats are nice but way too expensive when you loose one.

I see many ships listed which would not stand up against sentries, and piracy often occurs around gates... You guys must be talking about 0.0 piracy, which IMO doesn't count. 
My favorite piracy ships are the Sacrilege, Devoter, and Abaddon.

Rupture, vexor, thorax etc. all work well around gates long enough to kill.

How do you pvp in a rupture. I've never had a setup that could. Its always to weak or way to heavy to catch anything. Hurricane > Rupture?
