...why the Keres is the most expensive of the 4 Electronic Attack ships on the Jita market. Cause I'm seriously not getting it.

Do you have any idea how expensive nerfs are? :)

Have you tried looking at the basics:
- It might be the most popular to fly, abundance of demand will drive up the price.
- It might be the least popular to build, lack of supply will drive up the price.
- it might use more expensive components, compare the build costs.

That's the one. That's what I mean. It's clearly the least useful of the 4 (given the state of damps), and yet it seems to be the most popular.

I would go back and take a closer look at your assumptions. How do you justify them:
- It is the most popular.
- It is the least useful.

The demand is the only possible reason for the price difference as everything else is pretty much equal.

Check the number of sell orders filled.
If no one is buying them, then the limited suppliers that already have them built can probably charge what they like until there is some competition.

Will someone please explain to me why Caldari ships, being Shield-Tank ships, have their primary e-war module as a Med-Slot module? I'm not even Caldari and even I see "Teh Stoopid" in that design setup.
Or why the Gallente Cov-Ops does NOT use the Astrometrics frig hull for it's hull design.
Or why Amarr doesn't even HAVE an Astrometrics frig.
Or why ships and modules are allowed by CCP to go out of circulation (Gold Magnate, anyone?)
As far as the Keres goes, I bought mine 2 weeks after they showed up on the server. There was a flood of them on the market, and nobody wanted them after the Damp Nerf, so I got one for my collection cheap. (about 5 million, less than the Enyo's were going for at the time. A frigging STEAL)
I guess you should just try another market hub, or wait until they come down again.

Because almost all active modules except for armor tanking modules use medium slots, I'm guessing. ---------------- Tarminic - 32 Million SP in Forum Warfare Play EVE: Downtime Madness v0.78.3 (NEW VERSION!) |

For Caldari e-war ships, their e-war is their tank. Originally by: Bish Ounen Or why the Gallente Cov-Ops does NOT use the Astrometrics frig hull for it's hull design.
Caldari is the only race that uses the Astrometrics frig hull for its Cov-Ops. The other three races all use their E-war frig hulls. Originally by: Bish Ounen Or why Amarr doesn't even HAVE an Astrometrics frig.
Just the way it is: CCP has not provided an explaination that I am aware of. Originally by: Bish Ounen Or why ships and modules are allowed by CCP to go out of circulation (Gold Magnate, anyone?)
Some items were introduced with the expectation that they would be unique. There is no reason for them to be replaced if they are destroyed.

Actually, the question should rather be why the Caldari are the only ones who's Cov Ops does not use the EWar frigate for its hull.
Edit: Oopps, was already answered.

I thought that was pretty obvious.

Can someone explain to me why the close range turrets use less powergrid and are easier to fit than the long ranged variants but all but one of the close range launcher variants use more powergrid and are harder to fit?

because it takes more power to shoot something further... the long range missiles are guided missiles and therefor have their own power source ----------------------------------------------- "I often quote myself. It adds spice to my conversation." |

if torps are UN-guided, then how come they can still hit a moving target? you should just be able to evade them by moving over a few km
~~~~ ~~~~ ~~~~ Take away the risk and it would make flying around in space utterly pointless.
Take away the flying around part and you make EVE into a space themed spreadsheet application. |
why do you think "guided missile precision" doesn't affect torps? hmmmm? ----------------------------------------------- "I often quote myself. It adds spice to my conversation." |
Because the Astrometrics ship were given their boni long after CovOps came out.
