Yesterday was a shocking day for me. I was trying to buy some stuff on a base and check the market to buy a bit. I saw that ppl start to sell iso for 44... hm. i check the npc prices ,coz maybe the base doesnt buy anymore. suprice ..suprice....
this are the new npc prices :
tritanium 0.8 Pyerite 3.6 Mexallon 9.6 Isogen 36.6 Noxium 156.6
I doesnt want to start to refere about the effects on the ship and item market, but all prices will drop, i guess :/

What base and where? Doesn't the market differ in prices from region to region? Also, it is well known about the crazy under cutting between players just to get the most business. Just because some economically challenged players in one particular region decide to break the rules of economics by selling stuff so cheap that they lose money doesn't mean that the whole market is going to change.
I'm a bit suspicious that even you Asmodia may be trying to influence the mineral market some how with your vague remarks. Please don't take offense to my remarks as I'm usually quite suspicious of nearly every claim that any Eve pilot makes.
My two cents.

Give us a region name ^^ I was able to sell a highter price, but buying at the price you gave us would be nice (\_/) (O.o) (> <)=Oveur (proof) "Jumping 50 systems I can like, have sex 150 times during that period" |

I believe it to be a poor effort at trying to influence the market price for minerals.
If anything it is a player trying to get some quick isk but at them prices is it worth the effort mining and hauling to sell them?
I for one am in the business of selling minerals and know that players and corps are happy to pay well above the prices on here to have minerals delivered to their factories.

Yeah I noticed this as well....
I usualy buy minerals at a low price and hold them in a station until the prices raises...
Yesterday made me cry irl.

Maybe I'm wrong but wasn't NPC demand really low to begin with. Isn't almost all of the price determined by player demand anway? If so only n00bs well sell that low and in relatively small amount.
If not cheaper ships so it's all relative.
