I have a Rokh that I use primarily for running missions (for those who want to get on my case about using a raven to run missions yes I've heard all your arguments, don't bother)
Wondering what rigs would you suggest putting on it.
This is my typical loadout.
Hi: 8x 425mm 'scout' cannons
Mid: 4x rat-specific shield resist amplifiers 1x named XL shield Booster 1x named large cap injector with 800s
Low: 1x named PDS 2x named Mag Stab 1x named tracking computer 1x reaction control unit (I just barely run out of power without it)
With that build, what would anyone suggest could be done to improve it. And more importantly, what kind of rigs would go best on it.

At the moment, optimal range rigs. Once CCP fixes the bug that makes them ridiculously overpowered, it's anyone's guess. My research services Spreadsheets: Top speed calculation - Halo Implant stats |

Thats basically the same setup as I have.. Just better guns, heh.
In all seriousness, Id suggest 3 CCCs. My energy skills are at least at 4 and I have cap issues. I mean.. the injector is nice but the 800s dominate your cargo hold and reduce your ammo capacity. I personally go through several hundred (sometimes up to a thousand) shots per lvl 4 and so I need all the cargo I can hold.
If anyone has something better, hell, post away. This is just what I use and sometimes Ive gotta warp out, but there have never been any truly -emergency- situations. My sig sucks. |

After reading this post, that makes for an interesting idea for PVP, but really.. LONG range isnt that practical in most lvl 4s. You're typically dealing with X < 130 distances and ranges. I use lead and antimatter on my rails (86km and 45km optimal respectively) and let the drones chew through whatever jackasses happen to get too close. Since the guns can give or take 10-20km on their optimals, I have little trouble waxing things even without the mods. My sig sucks. |

James Lyrus reports 105km optimal with Antimatter when using 3 of those rigs iirc. My research services Spreadsheets: Top speed calculation - Halo Implant stats |

I would suggest not ratting in a Rokh (ITS A PVP SHIP) but... the rigs I use on my rokh are tanking rigs, 3 Core Defense Capacitor Sa***uards. But then again, I pvp in my rokh and I fit blasters so... ----------------------

Look at that! CCP censors part of one of their own items! What a joke. ----------------------

I plan on PVPing in it eventually, but at the moment I need ISK so I'm running missions.
So far most people seem to always put in three of the same rigs, that just because they always want the same bonuses or what?
My thoughts were a CCC Rig, Em shield resist rig, and a hybrid damage rig
The CCC rig because I tend to have a problem with running out of cap, the EM rig because that takes out the one weakness in the Rokh's natural tank, and the hybrid damage rig because my dps tends to be less than I would like it to be.
(and I'm pretty sure its because you misspelled it and it saw something... else)

You're better off with an optimal range rig than a damage rig, as that will let you use higher damage ammo at longer ranges. Also, damage rigs suffer a joint stacking penalty with turret damage-boosting low slot modules.
Generally, people fit three of the the same rig because they want their ship to perform a very specific job. CCCs are probably your best bet for missions - more cap = more tank. Alternatively, you could upgrade to a more cap-efficient faction shield booster that could run indefinitely - this is ideal for missions. I can see that, but since the Rokh gets ridiculous ranges already, I haven't really been worrying too much about optimal.

2 suggestions for your mission ship.
Weapons:
Switch to 350's from 425's. To truly get the highest effectiveness out of top tier weapons you should have Advanced Weapons Upgrades - less fitting mods = more room for damage/tracking/range mods.
350's will remove the need for fitting mods - and track better. The range reduction will be offset by the fact you're running a mission with rats rarely if ever beyond 140 km (350's can easily reach that). Damage reduction will be more than compensated for by the fact you could fit mag stabs and tracking enhancers to use better ammo for more damage.
Rigs:
I'd like to free up 1 or 2 mid slots for a tracking computer to improve the rail range with higher damage ammo. Just have 2 rat specific hardeners, and boost with 2 tracking computers. Rigs you can use the shield resist rigs (EM, KIN, THERM). This is more cost effective than using optimal range rigs + 4 hardeners (really you'll be dealing with 2 main damage types, and the Rokh has base resists, sacrificing some resists is a better trade off for being able to use much more damaging ammo to kill incoming dps quicker).
That bug with the range rigs looks like it will be fixed - I don't think they intended for antimatter to hit out to 105 km. __________________________________________________ Sup brosef! Destry's Lounge is looking for a few good drunks - contact me in game.

I think right now what seems to be the best rig setup is: 1 EM shield resist rig 1 hybrid range rig 1 capacitor control circuit

You're spreading yourself thin - specialize your ship or it will fail trying to do everything.
Either go all the way and go with all resists.
Or boost your cap all the way sop you can effectively run yoru active tank longer and guns fire longer.
Or max out your range so you can use antimatter as far as possible. __________________________________________________ Sup brosef! Destry's Lounge is looking for a few good drunks - contact me in game.
