Letter of Resignation
It started almost a year ago, when DJ FunkyBacon put word out that DJ C4FF and himself where forming up a corporation. This corporation was going to be something different, something out of the norm. This corporation was called, The Ninja Coalition.
Based around using pirate tactics, with the exception of only going after combat pilots and no ransoms, I found myself enthusiastic about being apart of something like that.
As we grew, we realized that there are only so many targets that we could engage. The Ninjas, being as we where all specializing in electronic warfare and reconnaissance ships, as well as heavy DPS (stealth bombers), we could be very useful being apart of a larger alliance.
Alliances came, and alliances went. With this, I think a lot of our members grew bored of the game, or of the long amounts of training that went along with using recons. Our actual numbers grew, but our activity in the player vs. player aspects decreased as a corporation.
This is not to say that we didnÆt have our glorious moments, which we did. We had a lot of fun. I will always remember the first dreadnaught that, if it wasnÆt for TNC, the main fleet would have died. It was because we WHERE specialized in electronic warfare, that the main fleet was able to get organized enough to not only kill most of the enemy fleet, but also the dreadnaught, and chase another one away.
Before I joined the Ninjas, I was becoming intrigued in the background of Eve, and with the different factions. I was also throwing around the idea of joining a corporation in the UshraÆKhan (as an industrialist, lol).
And so here we are, almost a year later. Much has changed within the corporation, and much of Eve I have yet to explore. Major fleet combat, hardcore piracy, the political arena and such. As it is, I am growing very bored of the game, of the constant missions, just to go out and get myself killed, ad infinitum.
So with that, IÆve been researching some different corporations, and looking at getting back into the RP-style of gaming. I found myself becoming ever more intrigued with a corporation calling itself Ghost Festival (PETA). They take after the Angel Cartel, and correspond with them. With this, they are enemies of almost every of the major factions and very few allies. It should be fun =))
And with that, I will bid you all farewell, and would like to graciously thank you for your support over, what seems like, the years. If you ever want to chat, please feel free to shoot me a convo.
May the solar winds take you under her wing, and show you the glory that is Eve. May your ship fly true, and your guns fire straight; at least, until we meet on the field of glory.
