This happened just over the weekend, props to the guys whom gave us our first faction kill o/
Me and my Significant Other (henceforth known as SO) went to low sec for some pew pew fun. We bought some ships, fully insured them and off we went. She fitted a T2 raven and me a cheapo geddon (because the money went to the T2 raven \o/)
We hit one of the gates and see a HIC and a hurricane, both from mean looking pirate corps. Not long after we do the lock and dance, a Domi shows up. The domi knocks me away from the gate (that was a cool bump by the way) , scrams and starts shooting. I of course respond and not long after everyone targets me. 2 Drakes and another geddon from the same corp appear and my ship goes down like a sack of potatoes.
"Get out of here love, save yourself!" i say. But no, my valiant SO keeps shooting at the Domi kamakaze style.
I pop, the Domi pops, my SO's raven pops.
We had mostly cheap stuff on our ships, but boy, were we surprised when we saw the killmail.
