Sent my own petetion in about it and im sure alot of other people did also not just BOB. This is a video game there is no place for that kind of crap in it. If this thread gets back on track before it gets locked I would like an update about NOL. Its also interesting that the "tonight we dine in NOL!" saying came from a 300/ eve online video and not from BOB chest beating. Most of the forum readers and posters think that is the reason its funny and are missing the true humor of it. I'll edit for the link in a minute.

Chill a bit bud i get petitioned all the time in fact ive got my own personal folder in my e-mails for the butt slap messages ccp has sent me, its kinda like a trophy wall. It was mostly bob members for a while although over the last 12 months its from goon baiting with the ocasional warning for bad language towards a bobit or two. PS: i inserted a few of my personal favorites to your rant. PPS : Although i think that insulting the dead is the worst kind of cowardice.

They were all bob guys and wardecced a small pirate corp I was in because we had wardecced 'grumpy old farts' and they had sum kind of relationship. There was virtually no smack, they were high calibre players, one of the guys was faramir, however, there was a character in local one night who made a comment/joke about 'Your mother must have died when she saw how ugly you were' or something like that, tbh I think it is a funny joke, I did get a bit annoyed at the time and smack a bit in local, but I didn't petition or come on to caod and start crying. Thing is, my mother did die in childbirth, but theres no point me going round and trying to make society fit in with my own grievances, plus it was a long time ago and I have family of my own now. I think that you should be more tolerant of other people and try to appreciate that 'humour' is universal, it's what people do to make light, of sometimes dark situations. Maybe then, instead of being mocked for their own brand of humour, and being berated for it around the internet, they would form their own community where like minded individuals could share a joke without offending everyone else? I wonder if that would ever happen? I bet it would be cool, and spawn lots of cool internet memes .. but I fear that eventually that groups of members of that community would probably band together in other online communities, forgetting why their original community had formed. Goons play their own way, as do BoB thats why both sides have been successful. Both sides will probably do what it takes to win. You wanna pick one out as evil and the other not? I think you will have a hard time doing that and, even more importantly, its a waste of time because secretly (or not so much in regards to Goons) neither side care as long as they are still standing.
