I think its going to add so much more depth to the game, if it is implemented correctly.
I think there could be a few problems though, like won't most stations be almost empty? Will it lag?
So yeah, I can't wait to see how EVE shapes up in the coming years, its going to be exciting.
Oh and since I am Gallente, CCP you do know you have to introduce strip bars don't you? ;D

And they must be implemented, to accurately compete with Age of Conan.

Personally I think it's a complete waste of effort, I play internet spaceships to fly internet spaceships, I'm not interested in walking round.
I'd rather the time and money were spent on fixing and improving what we have over adding more.

If done right it will be a nice little change of scenery. My only concerns involve how stopping into station to unload cargo, repair or any other quick activity will be affected. As long as a lengthy time-sink is not placed on activities like that, Ambulation will have no negative effect for me. Time will tell.
I know less than you think I do. |

The more pilots ambulating around in stations, the less in space, therefore less lag!! At least I fervently hope so.... YOU'VE NEVER ROCKED 'TIL YOU'VE UNDOCKED. |

Instead of spinning our ships around all day we will be running endlessly up and down sexily designed hallways, pretty cool, pretty cool.

You still can play internet spaceships. Ambulation won't change that for you, or make something you used to do suddenly be a requirement to jump out of your ship to do it. Life will go on, but simply with this added value.
And it is value, if not to you but to someone. There's an entirely different side of RP that EVE currently doesn't see but Ambulation can help with, just as an example.
If game fixes and added features can be done side by side with no impact to each other then what's the issue if they keep doing both? It's not like Zulupark, for example, gets 50% of his time devoted to designing cuff links for the Ambulation team.

Ambulation will potentially add a lot to RP especially. I'm excited to open my own establishments. =)

i think to get out and walk around we will first have to take our pod out of the ship, then leave the pod, and go back in the same way, but who knows

I think it's pretty cool. Of course, I'm not gonna use it since I play this game to fly fakkin' spaceships, but fun for the people who like to.. Walk around.

I don't think so. The Eve backstory enhancements were cut down to save budget but the game continues to 'suffer' due to the lack of some nice Eve lore. Instead you get 0.0 lagfests or alliance tournament every half year. What about some updates on the Amarr emperor situation and/or faction warfare?
So far the only things we've seen are some fancy pics which can be used for some fancy adds. But any substantional content on what will be possible with ambulation is as scarce as any new Eve lore. And I guess currently the majority would be happy if it was something in the line of 'Sims in space'. |

I just wish/hope they eventually do reconsider implementing the existing things like market & insurace etc into ambulation. Would be kewl to go into an insurance shop & fill out all those forms to get ur...actually maybe not. But neway yay ambulation, hopefully its functions wont be so far removed from spaceship EVE that the two rarely cross over.

It would be a cool option to see non-ambulation features mirrored in the ambulation world, but they shouldn't be removed from the internet spaceships part.
