Ever since the new patch iŠve had problems with modules beeing offline when they were showing as online in the fittings-window. I know its not a problem with my grid or CPU because i can have large amounts of grid/cpu left in my setup and when i go outside the station and ie: try to burn MWD, its not online.
It has something to do with the new feature that aloves us to turn the modules off/on while in space, because this never happened pre-1413.

I honestly would love to see a config option to not use this feature as it so far has only had negative effects for me... a few times I put a gun offline when trying to reload and the server was lagging a bit... I usually tune my setups to the available CPU and Powergrid and if I can't fit everything, then I make compromises... the only useful application I can see so far is to recover the 25% shields and cap when you go into battle by switching off the MWD... but all in all this feature has brought more trouble than good...

Fittings screen yellow/red status lights were often wrong pre-1413 as well. The work round is to make all fittings changes then close the fittings screen and reopen it - in my experience the reopened screen is accruate as to what is really offline and what is really online.
One problem I have had with new system is that if you try and and bring mod online but fail because cap not high enough, the shadow is removed from the mod's icon when obviously it should remain shaded.

Having the offline option directly below the reload button is the most annoying thing in the world.

Everytime i eject/board my ship, for instance my thorax, half of my equipment is offline and i need to go back to the refit station or bring everything online individually. I think this is because of the order in which modules get activated or something. for instance a Miner tries to activate before the CPU is online. This is very inconvenient.

Also if u dont have the cap level to activate the module when u try to the gui still goes through the process of showing it activate and become online even though its not. Same applies to putting things offline when u dont have the cap. This may have been addressed already on chaos, but as there have been no new patches for ages i've no idea. Also logging into chaos just to check seemed like more effort than writing this, so this message won the toss.

The change to make it so that you could switch modules online and offline in space was just to add UI and add a cost to turning modules online. Before this change, when you couldn't see if a module was online or offline it didn't matter because if you activated a module that had somehow become offline it would be brought online as part of the activation procedure.
This bug is just surfacing now because you can no longer freely bring modules online.

So is it beeing looked into, and in how many weeks will we see a hotfix for it ?. Because if i equipp my ship for combat and dont have time to check if all modules that shows "green" is acually not "ok", go out in combat and lose the ship because i cant activate my shieldbooster, i WILL send massive petitions to CCP untill i get my ship reimbursed.
This bugg is very serious and should be dealt with ASAP.

That's exactly what happened to me- no sheild booster when I needed it, lost my ship. CCP responce? "We could got confirm anything unusual happened, so we are not going to re-imburse for the loss of your ship."
