*digs out old, old beta ship stats spreadsheet*
ok the Opux stats are unchanged except for the cargo (half what it used to be) and the armour (+20 ?) .. The thorax back then had :
low : 4
Mid : 4
High : 6
Turret : 3
Launcher : 2
Structure : 150
Armour : 500
Shield : 375
Cargo : 2510 (1255 if it was halved like the opux of course)
Dronebay : 1600
Grid : 500
Cpu : 300
Capacitor : 450
Speed : 165
targeting range : 55000
max targets : 3
So the opux was faster and carried more cargo and had better lows .. while it wasn't all that much weaker back then, though it had almost no weaponry
so ends the lesson in ancient history :)
and yes it could be the type of civilian ship a lot of us have been arguing would be good for a long time :) (after all, we're supposed to be traders, scientists, explorers and all walks of life .. why do we only have the space equivalents of tanks and cargo trucks ?)

some guys convinced the GM flying it to eject the ship, and he was the fastest with boarding the new ship
