I read on: http://myeve.eve-online.com/events/gallente/elections/
That there is going to be a presidental election coming up? Is this for real or this just for fun? I mean are there going to be real corporations, playermade corps. that are going to be elected as presidents. And if this is true, what will these players be able to do, the president of the gallente, so to say?
If this really is real, then this game is cooler than I thought :P

To be honest I quickly looked at it and already saw this is old. http://myeve.eve-online.com/news.asp?a=single&nid=1296&tid=4
Seems that all players did was campaign for their chosen preisdent. Seems there was some fluff put in but thats basically what I got from it.

Yeah it was absolutly ages before we heard anything official back and by that time no one realy cared, I'm not even sure who the current Gallente President is, I think its Foritain?

The presidential election was a major thing that was planned for years, with pilot and corporate participation and all. Then for some reason it slowed down to a crawl and in the end was resolved without any direct pilot participation in a series of news reports.

Sad to hear.
Couse I just recognized the ellection in the game events section. I thought this would be a nice opportunity to get into some Roleplay with my corp.
So I sigend up for my corp and fly to one of the agents i should do missons for. I arrived at the station and there was no agent called as proposed on the events side.
So, have I missed the Deadline or something else? Or are the mates right which said it dozed off?
Is it still planned or is the best thing to just fogot this?
