Hi wondering if it's pointless being amarr to rat angel rats ?
since they come with pretty decent resist against amarr dmg types.

you can fit 425mm autocannons on a prophecy and hammer them to bits.oh get 5 t2 warriors to help you. use the best named guns you can afford and fusion m ammo.republic fleet if you are rich.
shoot first, shoot second, shoot some more.shoot anyone asking stupid f***ing questions. |

U also are not restricted to amarr ships--u can train other races and to fly faction ships u must do so--I have 3 different races trained to bs.

You'll have a harder time if you stick to the laser based weapons that's for certain. There's nothing though stopping you from fitting other turrets though. Also don't forget that some amarr ships do have launcher points and there's also your drones bays. I think all the races have some rats they're less effective at. Caldari though are probably the least effected, but even they lose out some in some situations.

I've used a harbinger in the GW with no problems. It isn't the fastest but the ability to stay a week or more without needing ammo is a big bonus you shouldn't neglect.

Harbinger with mix of Hammerhead II's and Valkyrie II's. Just ratting, but they seem to go down enough with Focused Beams (I think that's what they're called.) Took along 650 arty's just in case, the beams worked better.
The tank works just fine.....

The perfect Amarr ship for Angel ratting is a shieldtanked sacrilege. The one I used in Tenerifis was on par with if not superior to torp Ravens. Slightly slower against BS, faster against cruisers and frigs, and most importantly much faster warping between belts. Also safer in case local goes red. Not to mention how much funner it was to mwd up their collective asses and have at them with my very own private guristas-missionesque missile spam...
