You could go for these over inflated prices or you could come to us and pay a lot less on most of the above.

well id have to agree you hijacked his post, posting that you charge less than he does on a thread he started it cant be much clearer hijack lol.
why not start your own thread with your prices rather than post on somebody elses?

The way things are done old chap.
Its akin to advertising your wares in a competitors shop, not seen as agreeable conduct, and thus why the comments are being made.

But this is not his shop, and does not have exclusive rights to his this thread. Its more like someone putting up a poster on a wall and another guy putting one over it.
If he wants to post under me with revised prices for his mins then so be it, likewise if I put up a post and another decides to out do me on price so be it.
Its all friendly competition, no different than putting mins on sale at stations for less.

Ah yes, the old 'its all free competition' chestnut...
Sounds like selling in a 'free' market aint ur game @ all old chap, more like interrupt the other fellow's efforts by piggy backing, and not having the bothersome idea to contend with that there r others out there that u can't seem to compete with 
Wish u all the best Probotector, u must b doing things right when the cartels insist on thread-jacking instead of getting on with 'free competition'

Well to be known as a cartel, I take as a back handed compliment, but from an innocent post on this thread, it has no digressed into us using unscruplious tactics?
Now we have plenty of buyers who are happy with how we operate and we run a fare business.

As a prospective buyer I actually prefer it kept in the same thread. From a consumer view it creates a much more transparent market.
From a RP view I compare a thread to someone shouting out "Buy here! I'm cheap!" and can find no fault with someone shouting out "I'm cheaper!" in context.
Keeping offers apart are only of interest to those interested in keeping artificially high prices.
You don't ask people to find another Trade channel, do you?

I agree that this thread has been hijacked, it has been hijacked by the "its not fair" brigade. In fact they have done such a good job it is about to make an unscheduled landing in Cuba |

I could buy large amounts of minerals for:
trit: 1.00
Pyer: 4.00
Mexa: 12.8
Isog: 58.0
Noxc: 258.0
These are easy to get if you do even the simplest search on the market in the right region and at the right time of day. I can usually even get lower prices than these if i am desperate to save a few isk.
I roleplay... there is this computer game called "Earth - The First Genesis" where i play a character in the early 21st century. |
