I wonder when he will fight a real opponent.... not to say i dont enjoy his street brawling videos like everyone else.

He's an MMA fighter now afaik. So I would say he's facing "real opponents". Probably far from the best there is, but professional fighters nonetheless.

Seen him fight and it was pretty good, he looked like a wicked fighter against all the big black muscly guys. Then I saw him fight a policeman who was martial arts trained and the guy battered him left right and centre. So he is nothing special.

A street fighter fighting an MMA trained figher is not a fair fight. The mma fighter should wipe the floor with any other fighter out there.
Kimbo is now training full time as a professional mma fighter. With an mma legend training him. (Bas Ruten) He's had two professional fights so far*, let's not claim he's the best mma fighter ever and let's not say he'll be a bust. Lets just enjoy the fights.
* Fight with Merser was an armature fight, doesn't count.

from what i've seen of kimbo slice he's not a particularly good fighter, just a really ******* strong bloke. gannon outclassed him with tic tacs and ****zle.

Kimbo might be a colorfull dude, but hes all hype and little or no skill at all at this point of his career. Just hype to get some money, than hell get trashed when he runs into first serious opponent thats actually mma fighter and not street brawler.Still, if he keeps training with Bas he will improve. Will that be enough to become one of the contenders is another question.

Of course its all crap because it has rules. Dont get me wrong ill enjoy watching some mma(lol) fights but lets face it, its dangerously verging on sport now.

Afaik Sean Gannon didn't officially beat him. Nor did Kimbo of course, but the rules weren't really clear, afaik Kimbo just used punches in his street fights and was expecting that, it's like putting a boxer to a boxer who can wrestle too.
Anyway, I'm not going to say he's insane nor that he's just a hype, cause really, I don't know much about the guy. (As much as anyone (like me) can find on the internet over the past years in mostly street fights says little.) I know he's got one hell of a trainer though, he's got the body for it and he's motivated, who knows.
edit - One thing I'd like to add is that, with his recent training I bet he'd run over Sean in an MMA fight the way he is now. Doesn't say that much, but it says enough about the whole Sean > Kimbo thing, whatever happened is history, if he were to fight Sean now I think it's clear who'd win.
