Posted - 2008.02.17 21:14:00 - [31] 30mil is just er not that great for a scam. i made 300mil in 5 mins. i killed this guys myrmidon in low sec..a few mins later he convos me askinghow much it would cost for me to set him blue to the church (i didnt have the powers nor cud i be arsed actually going the the right person for it). so i went along with him and i asked him how much he would offer so he said 300mil. he sent it without me saying anything then asked if i could personally alter the alliance standings. i told him i would and a few mins later after just doing nothing i told him that it had been done. i told him to fly safe and i left convo...easy 300mil

If someone says "Give me 10 mil, and I'll give you 100 mil in return." Why bother with the 10 mil? What is the point for asking for this money in the first place? Is there some system in place where a transaction like this has to have isk transfered both ways? And, if you explain that "it's to cover the Sales Taxes, so that I can afford to spread more of it around", it sounds more believable, even though most people already know that you only incur taxes on sold items - not transfers.
