Hey Tor... what would be REALLY kewl... is for you to change your form tag... that would have made it more realistic for me :-) Still says eve... so unless you are trying to break the cease and desist (sp) order, you should remove that from your name or change it as soon as possible. Or i might have to testify against you that you violated the New York settlement laws which require IMMEDIATE removal of copyright infringment material. Meaning you couldn't have it labeled anywhere. You would have to literally TAKE DOWN the site, otherwise you could be fined up to 45,000 US dollars for continual violations.

If this was a hoax, surely CCP would have had to at least mention the joke to to these EVE-ONLINE "wummin". Now, surely for them to agree on CCP doing the hoax, and accepting the barrage of abuse they would probably get from EVE: The Second Genesis players; they would have to have a sense of humour.
Now a cursory snifter at that website tells me not only that they cannot possibly have a sense of humour, but that this is really rather serious.
I mean, why "have "wummin" been drinking horse urine for all these years"?
CCP: If this is a joke - its a bloody well crafted one. Might you perchance be getting back to work now - its well past 12 o' clock (even in Iceland )

I'm declaring "shenanigans" on this one.
You guys put a lot of work into this. For all that work, it didn't elicit more than a short chuckle on my part. The BEST part was where CCP wants to exhange all merchandise for new merchandise with "EWE" on it.

if this really is true and not just a april fool's joke, then i want an EVE t-shirt before they stop selling them.
but, in reality, only the website is named EVE ONLINE. the game is EVE: The Second Genesis. so, i don't think it would really conflict with the feminist eve.online...
if they had said something about Simon and Schuster battling for the name eve-online, i might have believed that more than this...
either way i want an EVE t-shirt...

Guys, first of all, it's obvious it's a joke, but it's equally obvious that the site they link to is real.
Eco-feminism is a real viewpoint out there, and that website looks sufficiently developed to me.
And no, I wasn't fooled for a minute, and I don't think that they were really trying to fool people, only get a laugh.
I thought it was hilarious.

LOL, that is a good one. Although, given that this is pretty much a web-based hoax, I would have liked to see the blue eve-online banner at the top be alterd to say ewe online, that would have been the cat's meow!
