Edited by: Gunzoid on 21/02/2008 00:02:30 Sounds great mate, terrific job. I personally could see it being implimented into the eve jukebox.
A bit of a long intro for my taste though, but still nice job.

Originally by: Tiberius Amzadee I wish I had skills to make movies, but i'll throw the idea out there anyway. This track would be perfect for a eve-chronicle vid. The imagery this track gives me starts on the day the eve gate collapsed. The scene would start out with the massive eve gate operating normally, ships arriving and departing between the old world and eve when suddenly the detailed destruction of the new eden system happens fading into the present ruined system of today. Thats when a fast forward progression of the lives and deaths of the surviving colonists groups forms into the present npc and player empires. The final scene would fade back to the now ruined eve gate still surrounded by the violent magnetic storms while an ancient burned and battered metal plaque is zoomed in on to reveal the name of the world the story is about to end the visual chronicle. The community is free to play around with this idea. AlienHand, like the story lines your putting with your music. Hope to hear more creations, spreading the word about your site already to a friend or two.
Wow that's deep. Good point. It could be used for a movie intro/chronicle of some sorts. Maybe someone would like to play around with the idea? ;] Thanks for the input!

Hi Tyr. Thanks for your opinion - means a lot! I also hope CCP will give a comment some day ;)

Hi guys.
On request I have made a version without intro. It's in the download section/EVE project and is called 05 - AlienHand - Forever Lost (introless) Enjoy.

In response to the 5th track.
Awesome work. In contrast to many of the posts, I got chills listening to the intro. I think it builds very well to the piece. The ambient nature of the music is not my usual choice but I think it provides very fitting visuals of vast spaces, cold depths and endless possibilities.

It would be a crime to NOT add these tracks to the in-game EvE- Soundtrack!
Great Ambient music!

Thank you for your opinion. Well put! Glad you enjoyed it even if it's not your kind of music ;)

After about 3 weeks into the game I turned off the default CCP, if they can call it music. I call it "Church music playing to the dead in a graveyard". Good sound track. I play it all the time!

Ok, so I've seen threads about your music before but never bothered to check it out, I'm usually a bit sceptical about fan music in general. But, I decided to give this one a try and downloaded it.
Wow. Incredibly beautiful track. Certainly reminiscent of some of the EVE music but with a touch of something else, something more than just the various melodies of the EVE music. I definitely wouldn't mind this being part of the soundtrack.
So, I've been listening to it on repeat for the past couple of hours (then again, I do that all the time, can't remember a time when I didn't have Single Repeat on). Even as I fired up the laptop (don't ask me where I am right now) I streamed it from my main computer. Very nice track indeed, and I found the ambience perfect for managing stuff in-station, as well as other OOG activities.
Haven't listened to the previous tracks yet, but rest assured; I will.

Thank you for your confidence. Maybe CCP could also make an album/soundtrack called "EVE music by fans for fans" ...?

Kind of fits in with the rest of the ingame music. While still being different. maybe for your next project, try making a Deadspace style track?

Edited by: Kiljade on 24/02/2008 23:50:45 As a fellow music creator (although a lot more amateur than this, and I also only do Trance), this is definitely good stuff man. The only thing I would suggest is to try and clean it up a bit, as it seems to be a little off the charts in the pitch department with high quality headphones. Also, what program are you using?

Just awesome. These tracks go perfectly with the EVE universe, I have these running in the background now instead of the original ingame music. Offer him a job already CCP.
Keep them coming, AlienHand.

To mention a few things: I'm using sequencers like Cubase and Logic. Scope and Pulsar soundcard with a total of 19 DSPs. A lot of hardware stuff (synths, AD converter, ATM8 etc) and of course some software stuff (synths, AKAI etc). Genelec sound system - Sennheiser HD650 - keyboard etc. I'm planning on expanding a bit. Pro compressor and other stuff, but it costs a lot!! If only I could live on making music - I would make 1-2 track each week and expand my studio so I can make even greater things. For that I need a contract or a lot of donations ;-)

It is possible. There is a small program that can alter your playlist. It is postet somewhere in this forum. Funny thing is, there is no search function (which I find silly) so you'll have to check every page/thread :/

Nice music, just wanted to point out that there is a search function on eve-o (if you don't want to use http://eve-search.com/) [Hint: It's near the top, on the right hand side, right above the ads for storys]

Hehe - I have tried it. Try searching for "Music for EVE" : Nothing comes up on my screen... I have 4 posts here that starts with "Music for EVE" .. shouldn't it show just one of them?
