Not gonna do anything fancy for this CSM7 attempt, if I get 1 like it'll be a victory in my eyes. It would be nice to have something to log in for again. (Btw I don't do massive walls of text, would prefer people to ask questions (I'm also tired)).
About me
Not gonna lie, I was made redundant so I'm currently unemployed and looking. I'm 22, live with my girlfriend in sunny England and am actually not playing EVE that much at the moment (mostly because I don't really have anything to log in for) but have been playing on various toons for about 3 years. Things I like are: spaceships, girls, booze and internets. If all 4 of those could be moulded into one I don't think I'd leave the house.
I thought I'd mention I'm not affiliated with any alliance / corporation or anything and even though I am in one (both?) I am running for CSM because I want to, not because we want any political power (**** politics tbh).
The points I will raise:
- Incursions, breaking the game and I would suggest changes to the payouts to make them more in line with other forms of making iskies.
- Fix the destroyer class ships (inc interdictors) they need some love.
- Ensure this game becomes 18+, I want to see nips on my characters.
- Reduce the blob (or at least try).
- Make nullsec sov wars more interesting (got some ideas on this but still trying to figure out an effective way of making them work).
- I hate carebears and carebearing, BUT isk makes the world(s) go round so I'd campaign for isk generation to be more level across the board (ie nerf incursions etc).
- Balance many of the current features already in the game instead of adding new ones.
Ask me any questions, I'll try and answer them and if I can't then I suck almost as badly as my CEO.

You come across as lazy and not into the game. I don't think I could vote for a guy who didn't care for the game he was representing.
Regarding interdictors how would you like to see them balanced?

HAHAHA, or they want to be women, or they soon will be women once the final "operation" is completed. Ilder can then go to the DMV and get a new licence picture taken. With that kind of courage, he has my vote for CSM/
I kid. I kid. Not sure if they have a DMV in England. They do have cars though. I see them in the movies. They have the MOST annoying sounding sirens.

Oh sh!t not only do I have some likes but I have questions too.
To quickly cover your points:
1) Pretty much the only viable interdictor atm is the Sabre, discounting how you wanna use it of course (they do afterall, bubble up). If people are going to use a dictor, they go for a Sabre and I'd like to see that change. I do like the Sabre, but more use of the other races dictors would be nice to see. This is also the same for the t1 destroyers, CCP even had a poll up not so long back at what players' favourite destroyer is and the thrasher won hands down. Not bashing on minmatar but the other races could do with some love in the destie department.
2) Yes my idea is relatively vague but here goes: Instead of the SBU's and TCU's system currently in place, I think an influence based system would be better. To make this as short as possible, my idea is to have some form of 'objectives' within a system for invaders to take, but also defenders must hold influence over that system over time as well (ie, use the system). The idea behind this is that smaller alliances may actually be able to get a hold of less used systems while the larger alliances fight more for the better, more lucrative ones. This may also lead on to helping reduce 'the blob' as more smaller skirmishes should be happening in several systems at any given time.
Like I say though, it is very vague at this point and I'm not sure what the said 'objectives' should be but currently it's easy to keep a system if you have a strong enough force and vice versa for invading. If lesser systems were assaulted at the same time as more important ones, it will make conflicts a lot more interesting as more alliances and corporations come out to play.
Provi would still be worthless though :)
4) That means pulling it out of my sock, I keep it in there to stop it getting grazed on the floor as I walk around.

I usually troll. It is somewhat of a gift. However, I am not one-dimensional and have much to offer. That being said, Idler has some great points (and so does is toon GÇô you know what I'm saying?)
It is fair to say that all the destroyers (all 8 configurations) need some TLC. They have so much potential and they therefore have a great potential to be both extremely practical in the small frigate skirmishes and extremely fun to use. I think they fit a better niche role than assault frigs and are a deadly answer to them as well. I would even entertain that if they received generous buffs, that the cost of them can be raised. They will still be cheaper than assault frigs. Both the signature radii malus as well as the ROF malus are fine and that helps to balance out the attack strength but the defensive tank and fitting slots are just plain ********. I think they should be viewed in the same light in which battlecruisers are to cruisers. The battlecruiser class doesnGÇÖt have the same detriments, why would a destroyer. Point in fact, frigates and cruisers are tailored to specific roles, battlecruisers have their specific role and therefore destroyers (as frigate killers) need to be stronger than they are. Battle cruisers can tank battleships rather well, so then destroyers should be able to tank cruisers well as well. Well? Thoughts? |
