I know you access it form your account page => char transfert but for the buyer, how the money is sent ?
IS it a normal ingame character transfert money or is it included in the character transfert page when you do transfert your char ?

post your bids, if you won the auction, the seller is asking you to transfer the iskies to named character. when the seller confirmed iskies transferred and your account name info, the seller will transfer the character to your account name. if the iskies are large sums, then use chribba as a middleman to secure your transactions, but I am not sure if chribba will participate in the character sales. the buyer might have to provide fees using the middleman. otherwises you trust 100 percents of the seller to make the deal complete. if the seller scammed your iskies, the seller won't be able to sell his/her characters in this forum hence that character is known as a scammer, but its totally up to you how you want to make the trades. there is no secure transactions when you buy the character from the seller. hoping this will answer your doubts about buying the character.

as i understand, sell evemail to state the price and the agreement
and scamming for char is a bannable offense.
CCP protect you, no need to chribba on this on
