Ticket Price: 25 million ISK per ticket or 2 tickets for 40m isk
Number of Tickets (no. remaining): 49 (49)
This is your chance to own a fantastic BS at a very cheap price.
The draw will be based on the UK National Lottery. The winning ticket number will be the bonus ball of the main draw once all the tickets have been sold. I will post the date of the valid draw prior to its commencement.
The draw will take place on the Saturday in which all the tickets have sold, if after four weeks there are still tickets available the draw will not take place and ISK will be refunded.
All 49 tickets must sell, if not than all ISK will be refunded.
How to play:
First choose your number(s). Post here with the numbers you have choosen and deposit the ISK to Lord Solo, make sure you put "lottery" as the reason. It is important you post with the same character as deposists the ISK, failure to do so will mean that you will not claim those numbers.
Before claiming your numbers please check which ones have been taking (see below) and also check the latest replys.
Once the draw has been completed the winners will be notified by evemail. Escrow will be set in a system close to Jita.
Personnal Note:
Comments on "borrowing" other peoples ideas are not needed. I am aware this is not an original idea. If you don't want to play there is nothing forcing you to do so. Please stick on topic. Yes I also know this is slightly more complicated but there are better chances of winning!

you might wanna define "a fantastic BS" more exactly. What exactly can be won?
Among other reasons, to let people know how much money will be going in the lottery and how much will be coming out :)
(for example, a Raven will cost u avg 90 mil, i think? If u sell 49 tickets @ 20mil a piece there's almost 1 bil in the lottery. Will there be multiple prices? or will it be faction ships? or maybe u intend to make 900mil proft?(hope not :P ))

Lets answer these points. Just realised that I didnt mention what ship was the prize  There is only one prize and that is the Kronos BS. They are worth around 820m on the market. If you work on the revenue of the tickets the lowest would be 985 with the highest being 1225. I agree this is a bit high on the profit. Therefore, the price of the tickets will be 20m each and no discount for bulk purchases. This would generate a profit of 170m at todays current market value.
I will reflect the new price at the top of this event.

Im interested in people's thoughts as to why nobody wants to purchase a ticket. Would it benefit if I offered a T1 or T2 BS of your choice as 2nd prize ???

The problem is this part is NOT true. You cannot be banned from Eve by scamming on the forums as evidenced by all the past lottery/IPO scams. CCP had always considered this part of the game and will not do anything. The only way you can be banned by scamming is if you impersonate another character in Eve and use that character's reputation to scam. Example: Chribba is probably the most trusted character in Eve right now; if you were to create a character called Cribba and attempt to scam using this character with the obvious intention of misleading others as to your character's identity, than that is a bannable offense.
Your best bet to start it off would be to use a trusted third party (ie Chribba) to hold the funds or start with a smaller lottery (like 5 mil tickets for a Raven) and build up a reputation.

for me its the ticket price..... i generally play 5-6mil lotteries, 20-25mil on a 1/49 chance is just a bit too steep for my current ISK-income. Otherwise i'd play :)

Alot of other players have been playing since 2003 too...
For all I know this can be a very formal way of creating a scam tbh.
However, as previously mentioned, people like Chribba have earned peoples trust and in turn, can be trusted.
I would suggest maybe doing faction cruiser lotos or T1 bs lotos with a lower ticket price.
I can not be swayed to drop 20mill for a ticket in a loto who I have no clue if it a scam or not.

Thank you all for all your comments. If you look at my character you will notice that it is an active character. However, I take on board what everyone has said and I will start with a smaller lottery. In the mean time I will contact Chriba to see if we can sort something out.

Reasons for not buying a ticket? Because the chances of me absolutely winning this are more expensive than just buying the ship, and the chances of me not winning this and losing 20-300m are too high and thus also too expensive.
To have people participate in your lotterly it has to be non-profit or barely-profit. Atm you're just a guy that can buy a kronos and have people cummulatively pay for it plus 150m+ that goes to your wallet, and that's excluding the risc of this being a scam.
