If you dish it out, you should be able to take it. Don't be a hypocrite. Since when can the EULA be tailored for a single person's feelings? CCP does have the right to change their policies, which is understandable. However, last I checked, it had to be a substantial and standing issue to be dealt with before it can be made into policy and also has to go through the appropriate channels beforehand, i.e. QC, legal, etc. According to the EULA, all accounts are to be made aware of any changes as soon as they are made into "law" and I neither saw anything about this nor was I made aware of a projected change. The GM involved with the recent LadyScarlet issue with GoonSwarm should be reprimanded for contacting someone at the account holder's email address as it clearly violates CCP's Policies and Procedures for this type of incident. If you don't believe it, read the P&P on the internal regarding this issue. What's the point of having rules available if you don't read them let alone follow them yourself. 1. This is a virtual game in a virtual world that cannot affect the living. I don't see the price of trit affecting my ability to afford bread and milk. 2. If you get this **ed off about people IN GAME saying you're fat IRL, you have serious self-esteem issues. If it bothers you that much, just remember, when you log out, they can't affect you anymore. 3. It's just a game. Stop **ing vinegar and grow up. If one person can get this type of preferential treatment, then all customers are entitled to the same. I would have liked my petitions to have been answered in this fashion and to this level of attention. If I question the integrity of the company, does that mean I am to expect a personal email from a GM or phone call from a corporate lackey? -TS

To be verbally harassed in this manner is not only against the eula it's disturbing close to things as: making fun of someone's color, race, or gasp how they look. If you want to start hate club go ahead, just don't spew it here in eve community, but i guess this is Goons Community we are talking about, what can you expect? Just a forum lurker

Just a forum lurker Goonswarm is a role playing alliance. When comments were made about someone in chat, they were specifically talking about that persons' character only. Just because certain people don't feel that they need to conform to societal norms, doesn't mean that they should get a free pass to go after people in real life. On that note, there has long been a history on the forums of one-sided moderation, when it comes to issues such as bringing real life into the game. One side does it, and gets in-game sanctions, another side does it and...nothing. It's happened to both sides (since we're obviously talking about BoB vs. Goons here) The only real recourses until CCP decides to get their forums in order, is to refrain from bringing your personal lives into the game. Stay out of the "Post your picture" threads. Draw a line between your personal and your game life. Don't use Real life personal tragedies as rallying cries to do something in a video game. Before you put something out there about yourself, just remember that people can and will make your life hell, which is why it's much better just to draw a line between gaming and your real life.

Goons have been posting videos of a "certain" someone and without even being there, you know who this certain person is and what they have been doing. I believe CCP is just doing their job and looking at every case, "Case by Case". They won't close thier eyes to what is going on and act as if this is just "someone calling a person fat", CCP isn't that stupid. Anyways other than this, i do enjoy the smack between BoB and Goons. (Can't wait to see what happens in the future.)
