I've grown tired of building T2 ammo, so these two BPOs are up for auction. Each BPO is being auctioned separately, so indicate which one you're bidding on when you post. Auction ends at 20:00 EVE/forum time on Sunday, Feb. 24, 2008.
Both prints produce 5000 units of ammo per run. It takes 21 hours and 49 minutes to build 20,000 units in a POS ammunition array (arrays build both T1 and T2 ammo and have 5 slots).
1. Spike M ME 30 / PE 10 Starting bid: 3 billion isk Bid increment: 200 million isk Buyout: 6 billion isk Sniper rule: 10 minutes from last bid
1. Void M ME 30 / PE 10 Starting bid: 3 billion isk Bid increment: 100 million isk Buyout: 5 billion isk Sniper rule: 10 minutes from last bid
Rules: bids must be multiples of the listed increments. In other words, you can bid 3.1 or 3.2 billion after a 3 billion bid, but any number between 3.1 and 3.2 would be rounded down to 3.1. PLEASE NOTE that the bid increments and buyouts are different for each BPO.
Please post only bids or direct questions about the BPOs. Discussions of value or other posts against forum rules are not welcomed, and I reserve the right to refuse bids from anyone who breaks the rules.
In-game offers will not be accepted, unless you are claiming the buyout. If you wish to trade one or more other T2 BPOs as part of a buyout offer, post here and then mail me a link to your BPO stats in-game. I prefer ship BPOs, but I might also consider module BPOs.
Obvious alt bids won't be accepted.

In a POS... you make between 17,000 and 18,000 rounds of Spike ammo per day.
Lets say Spike M sells for 200 ISK per unit, you make 3.6mil per day.
At 3.6 mil per day, you make 1.31 Billion per year gross, before building costs. Lets assume building costs are 20% of sale price... 1.31 Bil *80% is 1.05 Billion ISK.
So Based on these figures (sell price being a 0.0 price) and build cost being 20% (probably more, now that invention has driven down the price per unit), you are starting your auction for this item at aproximately a 3-year return.
I bid 1.5 billion ISK for the Spike M BPO, which is 18 months ROI.

I hate to say it, but the other poster is correct. And I think 1.5b isk for the Spike M is pretty generous.
That said, I might make an offer--though not nearly the 3b you are asking--for the Void M. Where is the print located?

Both of the above posters either think I'm clueless, or are themselves clueless. Plus, they broke forum rules by posting their mistaken opinions and not offering legitimate bids.
By the way, Spike M and Void M at PE 10 DO build 20,000 units in a POS in 21 hours and 49 minutes (give or take a minute depending on the factory cycle timer). When I was producing from these prints the last year or two, I would build in daily batches of 4 to 6 depending on when I could be on to reset.
Spike M was selling near 900 isk per unit in Jita within the last week or two when I checked. The last Spike M BPO to sell on this forum went for 4.6 billion, and its stats weren't researched as well as this one.
Ammo sales prices fluctuate, so please keep that in mind both for and against what you might consider the value of these BPOs.
From now on, do your own profit calculations and keep them to yourselves. Either the BPOs are worth bidding within the rules, or they're not, and you can spend time in another thread.

Apologies for running numbers in my post... but I had to justify why I was bidding at the level I was. If you are selling a BPO, you might want to actually do the cost breakdown in your inital post. It will avoid people doing exactly what I did... run our own calculations.
My bid of 1.5 still stands, though I would go to 2 in a pinch.

Prices for tech 2 components are getting higher and higher with all that invention spree, so production cost of all t2 items is getting higher as well :/ And although a week earlier you could sell spike M for ~800p/u, average price for last 6 months is still about 450-500. I wish you luck trying to get 4 years (yuk!) profit for bpo, but here is my bid: 2bils for Spike M.

There are NO T2 COMPONENTS in T2 ammo, so please stop posting your illegal bids with false statements about the BPOs just to try to weaken their value.
Regardless of what you think you can make in profit on these BPOs, the fact remains that you can sell the BPOs -- usually for a profit -- after you tire of producing from them, so all profits you make are gravy.
Again, the last Spike M BPO auction ended at 4.6 billion.
I now have to mail a request to clean this thread to the moderators, since you folks don't know how to follow forum rules. If you want the prints, bid the starting bid or higher. Otherwise, please keep your thoughts to yourself.

Ok guys and girls,
It seems I have to come into Sell orders everyday to remove inappropriate posts.
Sell Orders is NOT a disucssion platform. If a player wants to sell a Spike M BPO for 1 isk, 1 million isk or 1 Trillion isk - that is their sell price. If you are interested then bid, If you are not interested then don't bid.
Please note that using the sell orders as a discussion platform may result in a warning. Use Market Discussions for price discussions.

Bid Status:
SPIKE M BPO Dusky Shark at 3 billion
I've had two people contact me in-game about the Void M BPO, but they were inquiring about possible trades involving other items. As such, there are no valid bids yet for the Void M.

Less than 5 hours left. Ends at 20:00 today. Note the sniper rule.
Also, I've been having trouble with the forums not registering my login, making it difficult to post, so keep that in mind in case you're planning late bids -- you may run out of time trying to mess with the login.
