I've wondered about investing for a long time. Never really got into it because it just didn't seem safe. But, well, with me trying to save, i figure if there's a safe investment out there, might as well make a little bit of cash on the side.
So some questions.
Which investments/shares are completely safe?
If I buy tons of shares, and need quick cash, how to I go about selling my shares and getting full value?
How much can I expect to earn through interest for my investments? IE if I put a few bn into shares....what would I get back? Is it worth the risk (if there is risk?)
Thanks for the help

No player run IPO is "completely safe" - only invest if you have oodles of spare ISK and don't need it.

I built these funds with the small investor in mind. Look them over if you'd like. No, no investment in EvE is truly 'safe,' but with that, this might be the type of thing you're looking for.

Some very safe & liquidateable investments are Fury Holdings and Ebank. Either one you can get your isk back within hours, and they pay respectable dividends. Join ingame channel "Fury Bank" for info on how to put your isk there. For Ebank, go to eve-bank.net

Like Astorothe pointed out, no investment in eve is ôcompletely safeö. InvestmentÆs risks include scamming risk, real life risk, business risk, market risk, etc. The best you can do is to do your own research into each investment opportunity and grade each risk separately. Find as much information as you can about a given venture. Read the prospectus and make sure you understand what you are investing into. Then decide for yourself if the investment meets your standards and if it is worth investing.
Everyone have their own perspectives about eve investments. Some people believe player run IPOÆs are far too risky for the return they offer and opt never to invest. Others believe that you only invest what you can afford to loose. So you need to come up with your own decision as to whether or not to invest.
Liquidating and selling shares are typically described in the prospectus. Every investment is different, so you really need to digest the prospectus. If you are not sure how to liquidate, then contact the Fund manager.
