Posted this in another thread but, after some advisement from Treelox, decided to start a new thread specific to this issue. The flamboyant title was chosen to ensure maximum "Must Readness".
The Official Statement
If Benvie is willing I'm going to ask him if he would take the remaining inventory and liquidate it himself. There is the "run" risk still but the initial investment funds have been returned to the share holders so it is only profit that is at risk at this point.
I've come to realize that my capabilities, and/or competence, for the current task has finally reached the point where I am unsuitable. This diminishing has been gradual and, in retrospect, persistent and I have no doubts that it'll get a bit worse before it gets better.
So, barring any protestations lodged here, in a couple of days I'll hand over the inventory. Any share holder may raise any issue they feel pertinent and I'll try to change plans to accommodate their concerns as best as possible however RDIR can not continue with me involved. End Official Statement
(And yes, if I had to do it over I'd have made some sort of arrangement back in December but I also had little warning or ability to control events - water under the bridge that I'll be happy to discuss another day but not today.)

Original investment returned... you're being honest with yourself and everyone else about your current capabilities.
I think the run risk is acceptable at this point. Things could have turned out worse.

I'd, again, rather not discuss my ongoing personal issues here in this thread. They are known, enough, but the matter really isn't appropriate to the discussion. (I don't give sympathy here at MD nor do I want it - but thx.)

As a minor investor (1.66%), I see no problem with this course of action. I'd even go so far as saying that selling all remaining stock at "buy order" value would be ok too.

As one of the two largest shareholders I have no objections at all, I think Benvie's trustworthy enough.
I also wouldn't mind some selling to buy orders, depending on the items, to speed up sales on slower moving items if the margin between buy/sell is not too large.
I actually hope this can happen quickly, no reason to delay imo. Of course FL a few other large investors should weigh in, hopefully they will see this soon. Stacking Penalty / Resists Explained |

I would not mind having benvie wrap it up.
As an alternate to selling cheap and fast, for people that want to take control over their remaining investment, a proportional amount of goods in exchange for their shares might be an option. That way they control their own profit and the time they have to wait for their isk.
Best of luck Shar, both in resolving this investment and...

Maybe a timeframe... say two weeks... to get him to sell off the goods with sell orders, and after that just unload everything still left to buy orders.

This is already an option as far as I know. People really should keep up with their investments better... Stacking Penalty / Resists Explained |

At this point I don't expect Benvie to run on this IPO. I think it could have ended a little earlier, but hey. I'd be getting bored by now personally.

I have no objections at all with Benvie taking over at this point, and thank you Shar for everything you have done thus far.

What he said. Benvie has other public money that he's done fine with (AFAIK - not a BBOND holder), at least over the short term.
Thanks for the updates. Looking forward to the final profit number.
