Roguehalo Caldari RH Ship Brokers	Posted - 2008.02.21 17:35:00 - [1] General :- In 4 days time I finish training retail5 and start training the wholesale skill. In order to help finance the trading expansion which the wholesale skill enables I'm making this bond offer. The Offer :- I am offering 40 x 25m bonds which will carry an interest rate rate of 4% per 7 days and which will mature after 12 weeks. Buyback at issue price will be available after the 4th interest payment. I guarantee to buyback any and all bonds after that time. The bonds will be offered on a 1st come 1st served basis with no maximum limit imposed. The bonds will commence operating at 12 noon Eve time 27th February. Reservations should be made in this listing and payment made to this character by the commencement time. There will be no physical token of bond ownership offered. All bondholders will be listed in this thread and I will keep a hard copy of the list which I will use to administer the bonds. The Business Plan :- By the time the bonds commences operating I will have retail5 and wholesale 1,2 and 3 trained. This will give me an extra 56 order slots to complement the 57 I already have. The ENTIRE amount of the bonds will be invested in extra buy orders. With my margin trading skill this will allow me to create up to 3 billionisk of extra buy orders. The goods acquired thus will be sold remotely and the profits made will be used to service the bonds. I will train wholesale4 and margin trading4 during the lifetime of the bonds. Risks Involved :- There are 3 major risks involved 1/ That this is a scam. I can't really do any more than state it ISN'T a scam. You will have to read this offer document and make up your own minds. 2/ That I won't be able to play Eve. There are no forseeable reasons for me not to continue playing Eve. If I were to stop playing Eve but still had the capacity to do so I would repay bondholders 1st, either from my wallet if funds permitted, or by liquidating sufficient buy orders otherwise. If I get hit by a bus you would lose your isk. 3/ That I would lose the investment isk ingame. There is zero risk of this happening. The isk wouldn't be used except in exchange for goods which would then be sold at a profit. Everything I sell I do so remotely so nothing is ever moved . I invest in 3 major categories of goods(1 of which should be obvious from my corps name) none of which are subject to any serious market manipulation. The vast majority of items I trade in are manufactured which makes manipulation quite difficult. I'm sure there are people who would disagree so all I can really say is that I have no difficulty earning a consistent profit on my current 57 orders. Trust and Credibility :- Why should we trust you ? Why indeed ? I think it was Shar Tegral who said something along the lines that the satisfaction that derives from being a trusted and reputable member of the Eve community must be vastly greater than the satisfaction derived from being a known scammer. I concur with that view entirely. Your subject is a little confusing as it implies 16% at the end of 3 months (ie 5.33% per month). Personally I can't help you as I'm fully subscribed on all my stocks this month. (there've been so many share fire sales, I just had* to buy some of those beauties!)

Your sell and buy order pictures DO NOT show your character name, and you could have used the pics from anywhere. So those pics show nothing. Questions: 1. As you are making so much ISK why do you require a cash injection. At your current growth rate you will have earned your bond in a couple of weeks. 2. We are a suspicious group of people on the MD, so I would ask why we would trust a 3 week old character with this amount of cash relative to your experience. 3. Do you have ANY references? Corp mates? friends? That is all for the moment

If there isn't enough in my offer to persuade you to invest even 25m then nothing I can say that will alter that fact. He was not saying you are a liar, he said nothing you posted proves your trustworthiness. It's not about individuals trusting you with 25m, it's about you being trusted with a total of 1b. I find it VERY questionable that you're truly three weeks old and have made that much money and also know to come here to request money. Perhaps finding a trusted member of the community willing to audit you would help with the trust. This means providing your API key to them so they can review your orders/transactions/etc. You'd have to trust that this person will not use that information for their own benefit or disclose it to others. If you won't trust a trusted community member then there is no reason for people here to trust you either. Unless you are willing to tell us if you are not truly the main you claim. There is no minimum or maximum investment requirement. Please post reservations in this thread and send payment to this character to reach me on or before 12 noon Eve time 27th February. Let me just recap the offer. The bonds carry an interest rate of 4% per week for 12 weeks after which time the capital will be repaid. There is a guaranteed buyback, if requested, after the 4th week. I've seen from his posts that he has an obvious interest in the trading side of the game. He had the contest about new trade skills and gave 10 Million away. 10 Million is a lot to offer for an idea as a nub player. Granted the screenshots could be manipulated... but why go to this effort for 1 Billion isk? It's not exactly grandiose. But, I think he sounds like he's going in the right direction as far as a skillpath and maybe he knows how to make that jump from making 10's of millions/ hundreds of millions to making billions. Normally, I talk to someone in game before I make an investment. That doesn't always get me great results either - e.g. Wylker and Hanoi Hana. In all honesty, in this one, I didn't talk to him at all. Just looked at post history and killboards. I considered it a relatively small investment and with my schedule - working more than full time for a startup company and going to school full time - I know I don't have a lot of time to engage in market pvp. Especially since my corp is out on 0.0. So, it's a gamble. But, like Almiel stated, I think he sounds sincere. I could be wrong - we'll see.

The major issue I see is that there is absolutely no reason for anyone to pay 16%. It serves no legitimate purpose these days. All it does is make the deal so sweet it stinks. I think roguehalo would b pretty stupid to scam 1.5b, so an investment at this point is probably safe, I just hope he realizes that paying back such a small sum isn't going to get regulars around here to ignore all the unanswered questions. If he is hoping to use this as leverage to ask for more money he may be in for a rude awakening. If this is the last time he ever asks for money, then good luck to him and his investors. I thought about buying the whole thing for a while after all the flames, but I would definitely want to talk to roguehalo for a bit before doing that.
