Most classes of ships in EVE have at least 2 T2 derivatives, and I'd really like to see a dedicated strike craft derived from the Destroyers (A couple recent threads have kind of inspired this discussion).
So my idea is that you took the destroyer hulls, bolted a pair of enormous torpedo tubes (Bigger then Dreadnought launchers) onto the hull that could fire 1 Torpedo each... twenty seconds perhaps. These missiles would act as longer range (And therefore faster) bombs.
Unlike Stealth Bombers that rely on speed and their cloaking systems to deliver their payload, these craft rely on EW systems and the ability to deliver their munitions from a medium to medium-long range. They'd have a weak tank and certainly could be easily and quickly defeated by cruiser and battleship snipers.
But I'd like to see em fulfill the same combat role as the venerable PT-boats of old, and the Osa of the modern world. They can kill frigates (Thanks to their secondary weapons), they can kill battleships and cruisers, but those battleships and cruisers could almost one-shot kill them. Not to mention the ease with which the could be neutralized by other Destroyer class ships. (Plus if we make the missiles slow enough hitting a MWD could probably save your ship if you're attacked by these boys.)

Hm... considering stealthbomber bombs cost 14-20 mil a piece and only do at best 6K damage.. Your 1-shot battleship killer torpedoes would have to cost a pretty penny more. I do agree that destroyers need some more love, but an uber-torp weapon seems a bit extreme.

I dont think this ship would work that well, id suggest something more of a destroyer class stealth bomber just a somewhat upgraded version of the standard stealth bombers now with maybe +1/+2 launchers and maybe +1 mid/low slots. Stealth bombers are bassicly the submarines of eve, and they come in all sizes so why not a bigger brother.
