From what I've seen the lowest amount of pilots is about 17k up to nearly 40k. And you expect any feasible server cluster to be able to handle that with out lag without an immense bill that would get passed on to us? The best connection currently available is 10Gbit, one of those lines would probably struggle to handle that demand-if it could at all, the next improvement is 1000Gbit/1Terabit but its still several years away.
