Do you have to have mutual consent for one warring party to surrender or can either party surrender without the consent of the other. Or do the terms of surrender have to be agreed upon by both parties involved.

From what i can remember is that both corporation leaders have to be in the same station and one must press surrender and the other must press accept... But i dont know if that is changed.

nope, if some1 declares war on us, they can retract it, and 24 hours it becomes null an void.
takes 48 hours for a war to be started , and 24 hours for it to be retracted.
if u have a war declared on your corp, u cant retract it, whoever started the war are the only ppl that can end it.

Just a quick question then, what about the corp that had war declared on them, do they have to have mutual consent or can they just surrender at any time with no penalty. |

only the corp that started the war can retract it..
iv always said an ISK penalty should be impossed for surendering wars.

It takes 48 hrs for a war to be retracted - the evemail says 24 hrs but it is avtually 48.
