Is this a specific Caldari problem or is it just new since retail? In beta when I was amarr I never had that. And, is there any way to counter it? skill-or modulewise?

Its designed to give people a chance when they come out of warp, so they cannot be locked onto and killed immediately.....
Some say it works, others do not........
Personally I think it would be better to load all the necessary information and transmit the necessary data BEFORE arriving at your destination, so then you appear without any pause, and there will be no need for this 5sec period where you cannot target anything, and nothing can target you....

Well, as I have experienced it I can not target anything for a while when warping out due to the realignement but others can target me. That just strikes me as a bit unbalanced as the one coming out of warp is the one that allready has to deal with warp-lag.

I agree, even the shortest warp hop takes longer than the lag on entering a 'pricey' roid belt. There is plenty of time to do all the precalc (or whatever) before you get within critical range.
Because the destination is known and unchangeable, the information should be transferred a lot sooner.
I hope they work something out for this. .

NPC pirates can and will target you and shoot you.
They don't care about your (ours) magnetic realignment problems.

yeah, maybe it's just the NPC pirates. hm? If that's the case it's not a problem really as they're crap mostly. (At least the ones I've come across.

I was targeted the other day. When I tried to target back, I received the message "Target Is Invulnerable". It was a newbie ship presumably just warping in from a roid field. How they were able to target me while "invulnerable" is beyong my current understanding. Perhaps it is a bug/flaw in the system. Q.E. New Dawn Corp.

Nor do they care about their own because they almost instantaniously open fire when they warp in (read 'respawn')
Altough it does seems they are a bit slower these days with locking on to you... --- soonÖ |
