Hello all
im new to EVE - but not new to MMORPG ive been looking around and been reading the forums for a few days and decided to try the 14day account out -with the option to buy .
I like what i see so far ,
my character is called Mr Ethical - and i thought i would say hello to everone, hopefully will meet you in game.

Hi dude and welcome to the game.
It takes getting used to but if you do it wll be a blast 
Im a returning player. Ive played this 2 years ago and stopped playing because of real life stuff. But now im enjoying it once again.

ok sorry changed character name from Mr Ethical - to Oobec as i think it fits in with the Science Fiction and Eve world / story line better - anyway thank you for response and i will see you all around.

Just thought I'd give you some tips...
You are NEVER 100% safe unless docked, no matter what CONCORD say. All they guarantee is that the aggressor will loose his ship. They make no safety guarantee
Only fly what you can afford to loose.
ALWAYS update your clone. (last night I lost 5 days of training as I naively thought I wouldn't get into combat......how was I meant to know he had a smartbomb fitted.

Welcome. I just picked it up less than a month ago and I'm having a blast, despite having little time to play.
Only one advice: paranoia is your friend. Getting Learnings to IV as soon as possible pays off too.

That's right...
NPC corps can't offer you the benefits a Player Corp can. Well, technically the COULLD, but your looking at 2 billion ISK just to post a corp mail there.

Ha don't listen to those "Join a Corp" ppl--at least until u know what questions to ask--I have been playing over a year now and never joined a player corp and am doing just fine (and yes posting using my Main char)

Best thing about staying in original npc corp--can't be war dec'd... Now if ccp ever gets around to doing the faction war thing I could have a problem as all my assets r in Amarr and I am minnie--lol

Hello!
My advice is to forget everything you learned in other MMOs. You're probably better off in Eve that way.
