Edited by: Kati Grey on 25/02/2008 04:24:34 If your using the advanced camera controls...
Set the angle and direction of the camera(right and left mouse buttons.) and hit ctl-Q without letting go of the mouse buttons, then select no. The camera should remain locked in place while you can activate modules etc! Sorry if this isn't news but I couldn't find this information anywhere and ran across it only after playing around with the controls. If you have any other camera controls, please tell us about them.
If you have a better way to lock the camera please share it. This way loses lock when you rotate the camera and let go of the mouse buttons.
ohh and try the camera lock with ctl+f9, even better!

It does if you have clicked the "do not ask me again", if you have not, you can click "no" as I stated, that will lock the camera.

This also works if you move your mouse into the overview.

Same, i see no real purpose for locking the camera in place unless you're filming something with fraps and there are special options within EVE to make sure the camera stays looking at your target. ---------
