Well,OP stated he was running a mission and was woried about people stealing his wrecks/loot not afking an Indy full of Zyd into Jita on a Sunday night or flying a faction fitted Golem and accepting a gang invite from a complete stranger.

Myshella is correct. Just ask the salvager to leave, most of the will do so. And if you just cancelled a mission, you lost bounties, reward, lp and standing in addition to the salvage. EVE was never designed to be a fairytale pve game, it's pvp, this means that high sec is not completely safe and isn't meant to be.. In addition your attitude is part of the reason why more and more low sec and 0.0 players are returning to high sec to hunt missioners down, you smack and whine more than anyone else in game. As it stands wrecks belong to no-one, only its cargo, which i happily take as well, this then mean's i have aggro not just from yourself but all your corpmates too, you get first shot.. And too sissy for real PVP, now your way off, just look at the Salvager's that are about due to mission runner whines, yes theres a fair few recent acct's, now look at the rest, most are people currently still in or were recently in 0.0 Alliances doing "sissy" stuff like jumping into BOB gatecamps etc. As for "1337", not at all. Me and the lads are down the pub of a weekend.

You will find the game gets must more easy if you play in groups. heer is a comparison: EVE is commonly referd to as a jungle right? the king of the jungle is? if you say lions you need to take a biology class. The kings of the jungle are all colonial. lets see: hyenas. dont mess with them they will kill ya wait for you to decay then eat you. Elephants. no creature should mess with them en masse.(pun inteended) And the real king..... wait for it...... ANTS! Thats right to be king of any jungle you must have disciplend numbers. achieve this and not even you predators will mess with you. Sorry to say it but EVE is not a game for loners. Sure you can solo a mission, but in the jungle (PVP) you need numbers. maybe that is why the goonswarm and Band of Brothers is so successful..... And if you doubt the above ask any pirate in high sec why they left 0.0. they will tell you it was because of the blobs.
