(notice the period at end of name) An empire merc corp was hired by Jonny 101 (An industrial alt, he has a main in Art of war) to wardec us. Duty. and RH have about the same number of members but Duty has on average 3 times more players online then we do during their prime time. During their low periods its about even. The reason for this war? To make it as simple as possible... I sent out a prewritten email to about 20 corps in low security and in low empire that had "offline" pos's. I asked that if they werent using the moon if they could remove their offline pos, if no reply I'd petition CCP for removal of pos, or if they didnt want to take the time to unanchor the pos I could remove it if it was in low security. Now I don't always come across as being humble or meak so maybe I could have been more cordial about it. I recieved about 8 replies from people saying they were still using the moon they just didnt have the time to fuel their pos but would get on it. Jonny 101 however was another story altogether. He pulled me into a chat and started threatening me... saying his main alt (in art of war) would wardec us and crush us. Now our CEO who is a personal friend of mine for 25+ years and knowing me so well assumed it was my personal wit and charm that set Jonny 101 off into his little temper tantrum. Cheapy invited him to chat... needless to say, Jonny 101 gave Cheapy the same raving tantrum like a 5 year old that just had a lolipop ripped out of his mouth. I imagine anyone who knows Jonny 101 also knows how childish he can be, I saw it in less then 5 minutes of listening to his dribble over something so simple. Well... now as for the WarDec with Duty. I joined Duty.'s public channel to chat them up a little and see if they were like jonny 101... annoying little kids. I however found as I expected to, a mixed group of some funny guys, sociable and for the most part mature and the odd assortment of semi-silent types and of course the usual hotheaded smackfesters. After finding out what I wanted to know I had no real reason to hang around other then the humor of a few of them. Once the smack started from a couple of them, I left their public channel. The only contact I'll have with them from hence forth will either be my ship blowing up at their hands or theirs blowing up at my hands... Our massive production of course was hampered for the first few days but we have adjusted our assets and are heading right back into mass production so don't you go worrying your little heads... RHI will continue to provide the lowest prices and highest quality in your favorite T2 modules and ships. :) As for combat so far... None really. They popped our new recruit Lui, poor guy was just out of trial account and liking the game only to be thrust into an empire war and no safe place to go... we encouraged him to return to a noob corp and either wait out the war or find another corp... the other loss was DB who was out playing tag with a few of them for the fun of it. There have been a few encounters since then... once with me and them scanning out my SS, fortunately I got away from them after 3 attempts to get me. We have all pretty much equiped cloaks on all our ships and plan to continue running missions and manufacturing the same as before but keep an eye on local like we're used to doing when ratting in 0.0 Engagements in the future? Not if I can help it... I'm not throwing ships away trying to fight 3 or 4 to 1 odds... That isn't a sign of a coward its a sign of someone who can count... I highly doubt anyone in Eve would take on 3-1 odds if they didnt have to... so you can save the smack and rants about us being chickens it only shows your lack of maturity. Anyways... I've enjoyed tying up 8 or 9 Duty. members for 5 hours sitting waiting for me to make a mistake and uncloak... lol ----- TROLL One mans "flame" is another mans "constructive criticism".

I didn't even care about moons that people wanted to keep, I was just looking for a couple that people weren't using anymore. I'd pull one if someone asked me to and I wasn't using the moon, in fact I have done it in the past. Griefing would be the only reason to leave an offline pos up... thus the ability to actualy petition CCP to remove an offline pos after a set amount of time. All I did was write an email (a mail sent to 20 other people at that... lol) asking if you could remove an offline pos... but thats not the reason for the war... the reason is Kublai's irrational immature uncontrolable temper and "I'm greater then everyone else" mentality. And just for the record, I found several moons and have my pos's up and running so the whole original point is mute... now its just about what a tempermental child you really are Kublai. Again Kublai... You can threaten me all you want, its not going to make me be humble and cry and beg for you to stop. Good luck getting any other director or the ceo in RH to be humble to you as well.... I have known them for over 3 years, they're not the humble type. Whats really funny is after asking around, I hear Art of War isn't all that much to worry about as far as pvp goes but then I'm sure as with all pvpers you think you're uber and everyone else are wimps and losers. Personally I expect my enemies to be capable of handling themselves well in a fight, until such time as I learn otherwise. You seem as with many egomaniac's to think everyone is beneath you... and I'm sure quite often you're proven wrong and probably resort to blaming others for your losses. Underestimate your opponant to your own peril. BTW: How much did this week cost you? and the kill results? gee... got your money's worth didn't ya... hope for better next week? Can I just make a little correction here. I'm not duty, but I am in their public channel - you joined the duty channel to smacktalk them (the OP backs me up on this) as obviously decloaking and engaging duty with your ship was out of the question. Being a respectable merc corp, duty have a no smack policy and therefore it was very much a one way conversation for the most part, so you must have got bored and left. But anyway, this thread made me chuckle, op - by all means keep smacking kublai and duty, I'll be over there with some popcorn -----

We where simply hired to do a job, one that our client seems to be satisfied with, since we are extending the dec. I find your words here quite troubling to say the least. So, I will attempt to clarify our view of certain events. Firstly, after your social visit to our public channel, I find it hard to believe that Kublai was the one who threw his toys out of the cot. Or perhaps, him being a five year old, you where mearly emulating his supposed style. In fact, your first words where how vastly under experienced my pilots where, compared to the years and skill points of the members of your corp. Considering this, I find it hard to understand why you will not engage in supposed three to one odds. You make big show of how you gathered intell from our public channel, and sitting cloaked outside our station. Something that others would have done in five minutes by looking at our killboard, sparse as it is. I have to say something about these odds though, one average we have under ten pilot online, with not all of them hunting most of the time. If you want more even odds, perhaps instead of going on about our superior numbers, bring some more of your superior members, just an idea. But to accommodate you, I will ask half of those online at any time to log off. I make no promises though, they so do enjoy your social visits. As for Cheepy's offer to engage in one on one combat, it is our practice not to fight wars on arranged terms, but as the wars they are. I politely told him so, and said that if he wanted a fight, the best way was to undock and fight. Sorry, call us what you like, but that is how we do things. Now I know the utter excitement of you having us chase you might have felt like five hours, but I assure you it was not. I guess this concept is as hard to understand as that one that we did NOT kill poor Lui. Ok, at least not in game terms, for there is not record of such a kill. Perhaps we killed him in real life though, your account of his supposed death does make us sound rather omnipotent. I asked them if they werent going to use the moon to take down the pos so I could use the moon (Its one of the only things you can ask CCP to take away from another player)... its as simple as that... no threat just simple question. Many corps like the one jonny 101 is in Quha industries dont even play the game anymore and the only way to really find out is to ask them in an email. But I didn't, and I'm not taking blame from anyone its as simple as that. I have nothing to appoligise for if I did, I would. I was in and out all afternoon and according to what I was told your guys were camping the Tama gate in Nour with toushi sitting in Tama for alot longer then 5 hours... I don't know... maybe they had a bug and were seeing ghosts of your ships hugging the gate. Maybe even I'll give you the benifit of the doubt and you camped the gate for a few minutes 5 hours apart and someone saw you and assumed you had sat there all that time... who knows. There is a well known game mechanism to deal with POS removal and it is blowing it up, GM could remove anchored cans when they prevented tower anchoring but first time I hear of GM removing offline POS. And why people have an offline POS is their own business, most likely explaination is no will to fuel it and not griefing. And I don't see how reserving a moon with an offline POS would be bad anyway, want the moon blowup the POS... As for your war, acts, consequences, EVE at its finest. -- Heat, easy to burn your mods by mistake, hard to get it to work when you need it the most. Well designed interface CCP!

Nobody gave us any opposition and Duty. even found time to kill a freighter filled with shinies on a gate while we were blowing it up.
