First off, I'd just like to get this out of the way. I understand this is completely legit under the game play mechanics, nor am I attempting to whine. I'm simply just giving a heads up to everyone here to not trust this corporation if the same situation ever presents itself to you. From my experience with pirates and ransoming people, I figured the same kind of integrity would have gone with this situation, but alas I was wrong. So anyways, onto what happened.
Anyways, I was on my way out into the depths of 0.0 to join some of my mates. Fully aware of the danger that this voyage presents, I preceded onward. As luck would have it, a gate camp consisting of members from the KDM Corp corporation was tightly hugging the other side of a gate. I contacted the CEO (Merrin Farthing) politely asking for safe passage in exchange for 20,000,000 ISK after I pass. Merrin Farthing agreed, and I happily jumped through onto their gate camp. He closed the conversation window, pew pew, ship goes in flames.
Short story, he wasn't loyal to the agreement on letting me pass for payment. I don't mean to whine, and I really am not intending this to sound like a whine, I'm just trying to warn everyone if they ever come in contact with this corporation to not trust them on this type of situation.

So.... you contacted a guy (who from the Kill mail) may not have even been there, and whos ships were not alone.
As far as I can see Merrin Farthing dint fire at you, and so didnt break any agreement

You really need to post the chatlog imo. (edit out the names)
I mean currently i can imagine two different things:
You: "Hey! I'd like to pass that gatecamp. I will pay you 20m if you let me through, k?"
He: "Sure."
In that case it would be your own fault because there was no agreement or deal. You just told him that he would get 20m if he let you go. And he acknowledged this information.
Or:
You:"Hey! I'd like to pass that gatecamp. Will you grant me safe passage if i pay you 20m afterwards?"
He: "Sure."
In that situation its the same as a broken ransom or dishonoured "1v1" for me. I know its nitpicking but as a pirate that holds his agreements i would still try to capitalize on errors like that.

well you should realy check your logs, you did not contact merrin farthing nor any other member of kdm, you spoke to a pirate who is friendly to us without our knoledge until after you jumped in. we are nbsi in 0.0 and do not ransom.
try to get your facts stright next time, and have a nice day

I don't know the specifics of this, but I can tell you a few things about KDM and FIX.
1) We aren't pirates, we don't ransom, we kill everything not blue.
2) Merrin is the kind of person you'd trust with anything, he did not lie to you, sorry. He was also not logged in at the time of your supposed "incident."
