Now, it's always been curious to me what implants would suit this style of ship, namely the Wyvern and the Leviathon, so i'm going to give a breif overview of usefulness and I would like you're imput.
Crystals - Useless, do not affect capital shield boosters.
Slaves - Useless, would just add an unresisted armor bonus if you're tank was to fail.
Halo's - Usefull? Lowering signature radius so you can transversal dreadnoughts.
Talisman - Usefull? Increasing you're nueting ability to take down you're prey. (would only really be shown on battleships and capitals, if using two neuts).
Snakes - Same thoery as Halos, transveral dreadnoughts but i believe with a lot less affectiveness, but could get you out of dictor bubbles with more haste.
Imho, I'm sure there are more implants which would be appropriate but I cannot remember them off the top of my head. Anyway, give me some imput :)
Note: I'm refering to the first 6 Implants only, not hardwirings.

The others only come in low grade packages though, like the nomads. Having said that, a 1/3 increas in agility is not to be sniffed at in any ship.

slave set....
yes its funny that you use armor implants but it works.... makes you last longer....
might make a difference

But to a certain degree i agree with the OP - However, im not 'underpowered' in my chimera, compared to those who armor tank with slave implants. So ive no quarrel. At the end of the day, if you get your pod out, after your carrier goes pop (no doubt bubbles and such)....then good on you. Those high grade implant folks...when they lose their carrier, thats not what hits them hard...

And yes, i'll be stuck in a Wyvern so the implants would be exclusive to the ship.

Either snakes (meh, and only barely) or +5 attribute implants.
Rest are a waste of ISK.

Well i already have a set of +5s and a low-grade snake set on the JC, so that would be a natural evolution tbh.
Anyone got anymore imput?

Most mothership pilots are mothership alts who never leave the MS ever, untill it blows. I dont know any mothership pilot that jumps out to fly BS's. None whatsoever. They all use different chars for that.
