So you look at the prices in Eve tumbling quicker than a barrel over Niagra and you say to yourself, 'Hey the economy's trashed, why mine or manufacture when it's cheaper to buy.' Then you muse to yourself, 'Wow if someone came up with the cunning plan of publicising some nuts podding miners and disrupting the base of the economy prices will pick up and the faults in the game will be masked over for a while least till T3-mania comes along.' Then you chuckle at their impudence but if you remember 'Crystal Night' you suddenly realise that using hulk miners as a scapegoat for the ills of the game don't seem the least funny anymore. Flysafe Hulksters.

I don't know what "tumbling numbers" you're looking at, but T2 components just keep getting more and more expensive, the the consumers will be the ones to suffer.

Because t2 components have a lot to do with hulks mining in highsec.

well no, but it's the only economic crisis I could think of :P. I seriously doubt any crisis will come from this hulk genocide.

If your mining in High Sec I guess you missed that trit/pyerite are climbing. Plag is stay level after its climb. Just use your market button on your side screen and you can find alot of neat things.

I don't get it.
I think you'd have to be a seriously stupid trader to think a few vids of hulks being blown up would mean bad economy.
Actually, I think vids of hulks being blown up would mean good economy. The hulk, plus its suicide ganking ships, now need to be built by an individual. Yay, DEMAND! They are suicide gankers right (not having seen the video myself..) cos hulks in wars would number a minority surely.

Speaking as someone who does complex reactions, component prices are falling fast actually, the high prices were a bubble that cannot be sustained forever, in fact some stuff have lost 30% value in the past week.
To the guy talking about trit, trit prices have actually come down from their high in the 3isk/unit region.

This is simply a culling of the herd. Established industrial corps will not be affected as they will usually be smart enough to not get caught out by paying attention or simply switching over to a mission alt and grinding lp until the swarm gets bored. Got to make room for the incoming flood of carebears from steam after all. This has got to be ****ing off the true macro miners though as they have no choice but to mine regardless of whats going on.
Kudos Swarmies.
