SBs are best against other frigates IF you can kill your opponent with two volleys or less. AFs are better against cruisers than any other solo T2 frigate, but are also highly effective against frigates if you can keep them in range. Ishkur mows down other frigates in seconds. Intys are better as a tackler for someone in a gank ship. If using them solo you really need to pick your fights carefully because there's little room for error with these. Webbed = dead, every time. Covert Ops are fun for just flying around an exploring. edit: and I guess the EAS are supposed to be decent solo frigate killers too, although I haven't personally ever used one.

If anything they can kill other frigates much faster than a cruiser due to using small weapons. SB-bombers can be a lot of fun, but only in a group really, however they make level 2 missions very very easy, ammar sb is most likely the best for this. plus cloaking is a good way to stay safe. Covop-With a good set up this ship could be used for exploration and combat I guess but it's better at just exploration. no frigate is good at both Interceptor-fast and great at catching other people, don't underesitmate it's wicked fast warping speeds. However you might not kill many cruiser in one :P you forgot my favorite class! Electronic attack ships-This class of ship is basicly 4 completely different frigates based on rass minmatar -doesn't have to deal with the cap draw backs of a MWD! -double range for webs -great at tackling, kills frigates dead Caldari -mini blackbrid, good at jaming ship while being hard to hit and fast Gallenete -senor damp bonus makes oit one of the only ships that still uses them really well -warp scramble bonus makes them great at holding down cruisers, however it's damage is nothing so don't expect to kill anything in it Ammar -fun nos and nuet boat! -it gets bonus to trackinf disruptors, -this thing will kill a ot of frigates however while it might not kill a cruiser it's nuet bonus will drain it really fast and leave it dead to anyone else arpund to kill it for you

TBH, I always had the impression a Rupture melts other frigates faster for me then a Jaguar/Wolf/anything does, and, no, you cannot kill a well-fit T1 cruiser with a AF. Unless he's a ratter, but then you can do it in a T1 frig, too. SsjGhost	Posted - 2008.02.28 10:04:00 - [7] I'm flying a hound and after reading the pages on set-ups am specializing the skills for flying this. Its so much fun, does high damage an d the knowledge of knowing that if they get lock your f*cked makes it even better :)

SBs can be entertaining, but they're very situational. cov-ops are boring, but incredibly useful. EAF are good, but made of paper and you'll want EAF 5 to maximise their potential. they're perfectly usable before that but not amazing. AFs are good for ratting. Signature removed. Ptolomey Incognito Masters of Assonance	Posted - 2008.02.28 15:08:00 - [11] Assault Frigs are basically good for three things, Low level Missions, Ratting in real low sec and 0.0, and shooting other Assault Frigs. I got into the Wolf and the Jag as soon as I could, but they really don't have much of a role, they are too slow for PvP. It was pretty cool when I smashed an Ishkur pilot when I was in my Wolf. Artillery for the win.
