Edited by: Sir Bonkers on 28/02/2008 19:56:56 Starting recently, every time I target something, I get a Blue Screen. STOP 0x07F is the code. According to MS this could either be bad hardware or a program is attempting to write to restricted memory space. I was running the Premium graphics, uninstalled that and now I am running the normal one with the same error. I have also tested the hardware on my system. CPU burn in for 12 hours, no errors. IBM Drive Fitness Test and WD Diagnostic Tools on my hard drive, no errors. MEMTest86+ on my RAM, 4 passes, no errors. I am a Computer Engineer and I feel that I have exhausted the diagnostic possibilities that it is my hardware. I guess I should also mention that the computer is less than a week old with a new install of WinXP Pro x32 on it. I tried running the logserver.exe but it would not record anything since the BSoD stops all processes.
Anyway, here are the specs: Windows XP Pro 32bit, Intel Q6600 CPU, eVGA 8800GTS 640MB, eVGA nForce i780 motherboard, 4GB RAM, WD 74GB Raptor.
PS Does the uninstall leave any registry keys that I should also be removing by hand? If so the problem could be persisting in the registry. Thanks for your time.

That box isn't even clickable in my options menu, although I have a Creative SB X-Fi ExtremeGamer sound card that should pass as able to do "Hardware Acceleration"...

I do not think it is a problem whether or not the the sound card can handle hw acceleration or not. It is a problem with Eve and hw accelerated sound. My old Creative Audigy had a clickable sound button, but I am now using an onboard Realtek audio. I am not sure if I should submit a bug report with this problem....
