I play in windowed mode. Today I had to restart my computer and when I went to relaunch eve I noticed that the music was playing but saw nothing on the desk top. Click the button on the bar I noticed that it was indicating that the window was appearing in the upper left hand corner beyond the actual desktop. I dont know of anyway to bring it back into view. Someone please help!

There is a short-cut key that makes the screen go back to full screen, or at least i think there is.
Use this to get the program runing as it should in full screen then switch back to window. Using the same res as your desktop res for window mode is very important, stops all kinds of hicups.
Also, try using Eve Launcher, its an application free off the web and is designed to launch EVE and handle how its displayed in window mode, its very good. If there is no short-cut to get back to full screen then try EL anyway.
Hope that helps

Okay I got a new problem.
When I launch EvE it still goes into the upper left hand corner but still displays the desktop. I found that if I select the button in the windows bar, then hit Alt Tab a little window comes up, when I select EvE its brought back to the desktop. However ive noticed two issues.
1. I have to do this every time and every time I do it even if I was playing in windowed mode before, it boots up in full screen mode.
2. Stations and planets seem to "glitch" now. For an example if the planet is ringed, the entire ring looks as if it is infront of the planet, even the portion of the ring that should be blocked by the planet itself. For stations textures that are clearly blocked by other parts of the station are shown threw as if the front most testures arnt even there. Now for the stations this can solve itself if I zoom in onto the stations, this also occurs for star gates and I assume it does the same for ships however I have not tried.
Game play does not seem affected other then the above mentioned.

I get the exact same issue. Running a GeForce 6600GT. I've been getting the issue on and off since Trinity...but I don't remember what I did to fix it before since my month long break. Alt+Enter has the same issues Jacob mentioned for me.
We need this. Badly. |

K im trying to use EvE launcher here, when I go to enter my second client it says something like it needs to be in a second directory. I dont understand, before I tried using eve launcher I was able to just double click two times on the eve icon and it would launch two clients and I could play normally. What do I have to do?

You need to copy the C:\Program Files\CCP\EVE directory (your main client director where EVEs files are) and Paste it somewhere else, say just in C drive.
You should end up with client 1 in: C:\Program Files\CCP\EVE
and client 2 in: C:\"Character name"\CCP\EVE
or something similar.
EVE launcher needs to handle each instance of EVE seperatly so it needs to use seperate EVE.exe files, hence having two copies of the client.
You dont need to install a second client, just a simple copy and past to another location.
Remember when patching these you'll need to patch both folders, as they are now bascily seperate programs.
Hope that clears it up
