MAFIA has left the SE (Solitude Empire) alliance today.
We feel that we have tried very hard to get things organized in the alliance. But the response from most corporations has been poor.
I personally has been criticed for taking to much of a leader role. I admit doing that, and it was to get the alliance on it's feet. I have been working hard, and when i did get the critic i stopped working as hard and took on a more laidback approach to politics. After that, the SE has crippled because lack of leadership.
Although 5-6 corporations in SE has been active in politics and defending systems, those corporations canŠt bear the burden of 10 corporations that aren't willing to help out when needed.
The main problem with this alliance is that it grew so quick without clear goals and structures.
In only a few weeks it went from 0 to 150+ players.
In a near future i think more corporations will follow the path of MAFIA. SE will fall apart very soon...

Looking forward i see MAFIA going back to what they did before SE, pirating and mercenary services.
We are going to relocate, probably to syndicate.
But we are open for suggestions from any larger Alliance that have a region with closed borders.
If we stay around in Syndicate we would like more corporations team up with us in the outlaw profession. Contact me for a discussion.

Well...
It was fun for most of the time that it lasted - lack of commitment from some corps in the SE to risk their lives for the greater good, plus a general decline in the working together aspect, combined with the stupid rate of growth has bought the alliance to a premature close.

The London thing u mean? Yeah still considering it, if i'm going it's gonna be a last minute kinda thing and it will require chewy to do the same. However, I also got an invite to come to a lanparty just across the border in Belgium by some of yer friends.

Yeah, the London thing...I'm hoping it will be a good laugh, be good to see the people you play against ' puts the - its just a game thing ' into a better perspective I think.

Well if your after maintain the PvP aspect of eve (if ur looking into going back to piracy and being mercenaries i assume you guys are ) then the C4 alliance is still looking for new corps to join it's ranks, not for the faint hearted mind you ;).
