Pear2pear have always been the same tbh (Full of ##%@#$, and no way of knowing if ur downloading The latest movie you wanted to watch, or animal ****]., less people use them nowadays, Utorrent took over time ago.

i heard limewire is highly moniterd now and a few people have been charged for illegal downloading , you might wanna try www.qtrax.com its free and legal cos you have to watch a stupid add b4 your download starts .

Nop. If they got hard proof you did something, they might get away with it, but otherwise you can sue their pants off for unlawful detainment (kidnapping, basically). Was an issue recently with the campus police around here detaining trespassers, drunken students, etc. until police got there, now they have to simply escort the person off the university's private property (except in rare occasion).

In the UK, ANY citizen (rent-a-cops and normal people alike) can make a "citizens arrest" of anyone who they can be has "without reasonable doubt" committed an arrestable offence. The US has quite similar laws in most states. The belief that a person who is being robbed, or a person witnessing a robbery, cannot do anything about it is a complete and utter untruth- largely believed by idiot teenagers who think they can get away with shoplifting.

torrents is the way to go, i can suggest Utorrent as program, and www.isohunt.com or www.thepiratebay.org to find your files. i mean, if you want to watch those legal wow movies and such. ofcause there is a little(okay, a lot) of illegal content there as well.

So we're in agreement. To have proof beyond reasonable doubt, they would need video surveillance or clear view of you putting something in your pocket and walking out of the store, or to search you after you leave the store. They have no right to search you without one of the previous two, so... yeah.
Even if they were a cop, unless they a have reasonable belief that a crime has been committed, you don't even got to talk to them. Or that's how it used to be, wouldn't be surprised if it got changed by some "anti-terrorism act."

okay, here is all you need to get started with torrents.
Utorrent (Main program you use for torrents)
Eztv.it (This is where you find all series, like stargate, friends, and everything else.
Isohunt.com (Here you can find games and movies, remember to read comments, so you don't get fake or bad torrents!
Boxtorrent (This is where you find all your Anime)
The Pirate bay also a site where you can find most of the things. change "ThePirate" out with p**r, for the adult needs.
and finaly if you want to feel safer.
Relakks.com This is a VPL tunnel, where you connect you net through, then all your time online will be encrypted, and no one can find your real ip. they only give out you ip if there is a 2 years or more prison sentence for what your doing, but there is not with pirating. so its safe.
