Why is there no 'Withdraw' in the context menu on your applications?

Assuming you mean applications to an in game corporation; I am afraid that once you apply the only way the application process will end is if a recruiter for the corporation either accepts or declines the application. |

Then what would happen if you have multiple applications out (or is that not possibe?) and get accepted to one corp, then the other accepts your application? Do you automatically get moved to the last corporation to accept your app? |

Before they updated the corporation application window recently, in whatever patch that was, once you joined a new corporation any existing outstanding applications to other corps were automatically cancelled (simply removed, rather than actually rejected).
I don't know if that still happens, but I assume it does. |

The whole system needs to be redone tbh. Not just with the application process but the entire corp role/management system. |

Once you're in a player corp you can't apply for another corp, so the outstanding apps become invalid. From what I remember the outstanding apps are still visible in the corps you didn't join, a director has to accept/reject (or possibly just look at) the app to make it disappear. That was in 2009 so I don't know if its still the case.
Hopefully that makes sense. |

It's still the case (all other player corp applications become invalid) but I don't think anybody needs to reject them manually anymore, they simply all vanish as soon as one of them is accepted... or at least it appears that way to me (could be one of the directors or personnel managers cleared them before I could look myself). http://wiki.eveonline.com/en/wiki/Contributor_name:Akita_T#Contributions_link_collection |
