We all know that EvE is serious business, and that business is moon mining. I think that Goons have known that all along, and now they are approaching the largest moon mining network in EvE, bigger than BoB, bigger than RA. They are making many billions of isk a day. They may not have the quality of moons to mine of a BoB or an RA, but they more than make up for it in quantity. I wonder how this will change the face of EvE once Goons use all of that isk to start buying cap ships in greater numbers. It also opens up the option of large fleets of tech 2 ships. I also expect to see a lot more jump freighters because they can mine the quantities needed to build those ships, giving them frightening logistics when combined with their jump bridging system. Give it 6 months. It ought to get interesting, they will not need RA cap support so much after that I bet and will be able to move materials and ships anywhere in the South on short notice. This will make Goons possibly the wealthiest alliance in EvE over time and vastly increase their military potential. They may use command ships and BS like they use rifters now.

I don't "see Goonfleet in action". I am not a pvper. I do see the killboards and the markets, and follow where things go and come from to some extent. I also pay attention to what people say and try to put the puzzle together of what is going on. Goons are going to be filthy stinking rich soon, is what I think.
*edit Goons will be an 0rder of magnitude more wealthy.

A lot of goons are already filthy stinking rich, most GS motherships are privately funded (in fact I think there's only ... 2? that where corp made). Once goons have Delve you can guarentee that we'll abuse it's true sec / NPC stations to it's full potential though.

If you take Delve you will be wiping your arse with motherships.

A mining jump freighter. How quaint. You mean a Rorqual by chance? Less commonly known as a capital industrial ship ?
Learn the game before you make topics please.
No, they will be moon mining enough to build jump freighters, they take huge amounts of moon mining material to build.

It will be interesting to see who (if anyone) will take over the good moons in Delve.
Looking at the map, many of the coalition people are quite far from their other territories. I cannot help but wonder how much that will matter when and if it is time to divide the spoils of war.
Now... the tortugans or MC or whatever they call themselves after abandoning their Delve hosts (Naughty Seleene, I thought we agreed years ago that it's bad form to switch sides mid-conflict )
These brigands, cutthroats and mercenaries are well-poised to lay claim to Delve, their numbers might not be enough to do that.
Changes to the whole logistics-chain with freighters makes it harder to maintain and fuel control towers. Silos have to be emptied, fuel has to be bought or mined and hauled. Looking at the volumes and time involved, only the large and organized groups can hope to claim multiple regions.
Ownership of moons in 0.0 is at best temporary, and one should not get ahead of events. Band Of Brothers are still holding on to Delve, and setting up harvesters prematurely is probably a bad idea.

Does anyone else in here feel like they can be objective about the echonomic implications of 0.0 landgrabbing? Are distances and logistics-nerfs really enough to stop invasions dead in their track? (unless you have thousands of ships that is )
Is the market unrest on high-end complex reactions a result of the war, or is the war a result of the market?

Oh the irony. You have absolutely no idea what you're talking about. Delve is just as close to empire as any other decent 0.0 space and as long as there is so much money to be made (in theory you can make over 1 bil a month from a single medium Pos) you wont see a change in supply.
Any decent moon is going to be instantly taken by whoever has claim to the system.
