This is beginning to annoy me... I know these are the forums and so a general cynical, miserable and anti-social tone is expected. However, the commentators for Eve TV, along with all the rest of the crew are doing a great job.
I've watched most of the show each day, I've had zero technical issues and the quality has been good for a high-user video stream. Sure, it's not in-game quality but if you expect that then you're simply being unrealistic.
Now... the commentary. I don't care what they are wearing. It's what they are saying I'm interested in. I've seen a lot of people slate them for missing things in matches but that's the way it goes. I've watched plenty of football/rugby games where the commentators missed somthing that I havn't. Does that mean they suck? No. They've been doing it for years and they are good at it but they are only human.
Give the guy's a break. It's supposed to add to the entertainment and give additional information, not simply be a robot telling you what's happening.
Eve TV crew, you're doing great. I've enjoyed every minute so far, keep it up.

ehhh, great? That's a bit too high a praise I think. However I think they're doing the best job they can do with the simple tools they are provided.
I'd like for them to have more control over their own personal camera so they can look at what they want to look at to get the most information before they comment (Not affect the camera the viewer sees).
Also It wouldn't hurt if they could open up Eve Mon to check on facts they might not know, like the case of the Thermal Berzerker Drones.
My biggest gripe about the tools is what is the big issue in letting the commentators see the top of the screen? It's pretty important to know the status of the shields of the top ship.
But to be GREAT they need more tools. But I'm always surprised that people without any real training/experience in something like commentating can do such a convincing job.

I would say a good, not great, job overall. The commentary needs to improve a little bit. There's being amusing and then there's being disrespectful. They should realize where the line is and try to not cross it. If the line is crossed, EveTV should steer the discussion back on course. It's a balancing act, but I think they can improve a bit.
I find it really amusing when commentators 'smack' a team, then have to blah blah blah when that team wins the match. 
On a side note... I would definitely like to see a high-rez product for the Alliance Tourny's. Even if it's an DVD put out for sale at the end of the Tourny (CCP?).
