I remember all 10 months ago when I started EVE to create my charecter I had to pick all sorts of choices including the bloodline and 'tube child' and many others leading up to career choice and a starting school...
I tried creating an ALT for the hell of it and I noticed almost all these features were gone for me, anyone know what gives?

with regards to career because they still doesnt give the old cooler options?...
a shame really.

D'oh!
Just select "Custom" in the beginning, and you will get the old way of setting up your character by picking school, heritage, etc...

Ok so this is only slightly off topic but does concern character creation, why are we only allowed 2 alts? Was it some kind of design limitation? Hey 2 alts don't even begin to represent all the voices in my head, even when I put them into groupings I have more than 3. And I don't want to hear about buying another account, the four that controll the $$, were dead set against buying Eve in the first place, but we fooled them, told them Eve was expanded reality more room for everyone and when they ask about the time difference we re-direct them to E&B.
Stop griping about server instability and go buy an EVE mug!
Additionally with the purchase of each mug you will receive two(2) invisible Elves.

I think 3 slots is plenty. As you can only have 1 character training at a time 3 is more than enough. One and honest upstanding citizen, and the other a honest upstanding pirate. Ya need the honest citizen to go back to High sec space for supplies.

When the game starts out in windowed mode it can hide that option...press alt-enter to switch to full screen. That's the only reason you may not see it.
