Hi. I wouldnt exactly call "No Fair Fights" a Xanadu alt corp. To be honest... I was bored, I had an alt in Oracle so i just started a lil corp to have some fun with 'em in empire space. Only lasted for like 1-2 weeks and ATUK was only added because I had a war slot free. Nothing personal and tbh i dont even know if I ever even engaged an ATUK ship since.
The account changed owner in the meantime, so if you get attacked by No Fair Fights it isnt me.

I think its pretty difficult to answer because specialties are not always compatible and the whole big/corp small/corp issue comes into play on choice of prefered environment.
Speaking personally I would choose a corp that was "best" at the something I wanted to get involved with:
Xanadu are very solid indeed on production and combat.
Rona are about the only real "megacorp" in scale and activity and responsible corp feel.
Evolution rule from an apolitical combat capability perspective (though moo are pretty good too).
Reikoku are the best known mercs and make that paradigm work.
PIE seem dead good from the nationalist roleplay angle.
Gradient seem promising from the minmatar perspective.
Endless corp and INO are possibities and if I wanted to make a tonne of money I would join BBB ;)
As for us; well Jericho is the best for sexy politics and radical post nationalism ;)

How many of this topics are there ? How do you know which corp is best? have you been in all? how can you measure which is best? how do you know you playerbase is the best?
To keep it short you never know. A corporation is your home, you need to feel at ease that is the only point, who cares if the website is better, as long as you are making fun and like the game its alll ok My corp are only friends and we have a great time together and we will have that in other corps.

I heard Concord would declare war on you if you kill enough innocent people, so I did.
I got instapwned in all the systems I didn't expect them (high sec) and I have to say I regret what I did, they are uber.
I hope nobody from Concord will flame me for what I will say, but I think they are cheating and exploiting all the time!

My favourite corps/groups are the ones that shape the political winds of Eve.
When you look back at Eve history, do you think "wow.. that group of players really made a lot of miner 2's!" or "Ill never forget xxx.. those guys really knew how to mine!"? Whilst these characteristics have merit and are a neccessary part of the game, they just aren't particularly dynamic, surprising or memorable for me. So based on this reasoning, I would say that my favourite groups in Eve from my own experience are:
Curse Alliance
Stain Alliance
Phoenix Alliance
Fountain Alliance
Jericho Faction
The late Venal Alliance
Arcadia Alliance
Forsaken Empire
C4 Alliance
m0o
Evolution
TTI
Omega Corporation
And thats simply because all these guys just like to f*ck with eachother and shake it up a little. These are the groups who make 90% of the news in the game and dominate discussion about the game.. whether or not you think that is a good thing, I don't know, but when I think of Eve, I think of these people. Impact is all that matters in a computer game.

How people view the corp their in, and what they think is good about is sometimes quite insightful and intresting. Not to mention new players may read it and think that ooo that corp sounds for me...
Saying that, maybe we should start a "Advertise your corp thread". There are a number of new players joining that may be looking for corps, maybe we should make a thread saying what your corp is about, what your aims are, whether you rp etc.. Nothing properganda wise, just sort of an overview...
Thinking about it, I'll make some questions and post em for each corp to think about and reply :) If it helps a new player find a corp that they'll enjoy its all good :)

EGCO has more dope than anybody, therefor - even if we're not the best corp in eve...we are definately the most intoxicated. It is also worth mentioning that each member of my corp has net assets upwards of 500m and can drink any american under the table...and still fly his ship home. EGCO also holds patents for the Integrated Ship Bong I, the 1000 Watt HPS Chia-Pod and are authors of the Best-selling Minmatar Spiritual Self-help novel "Book Of Gank". To join our corp as a junior officer you must have 2 accounts with at least 5m skill points on each, no prior record of SA/FA/PA/NVA/XETIC involvement, lots of drugs and a battleship...or be female.

Mr. Franklin, I have a few comments pertaining to your above post.
1. Nice Hijack.
2. I have allready explained the stance of the PA on this matter in the thread about this matter. I even posted the address to our forums so that the C.o.D. could lodge a formal complaint.
3. Please stop trying to drag the PA council into this conflict.
On a personal note, I would like to hand out a little advice: It is not going to work. no matter what you say here on the boards, the PA council simply will not get involved with what we classify as a small (external) conflict that R-K is dealing with currently. And please refrain from critisizing the PA council over what you THINK is going on within the PA.
